Selling tickets to CINDERELLA later today.  Hope there are some to sell....

Maybe you can sell some on-stage seating.

I wonder if in its transfer to the screen and it's opening up it's lost some of its brilliance - the film, as I said, is enjoyable, but doesn't ever really attain brilliance for me.

DR Michael Shayne - You're jaded.  James Carpinello did injure himself.  And, trust me, if they had wanted to replace him, the producers would have had someone else lined up already - especially so relatively close to opening (June 26).  With Andre Ward going in now, they're left with just one male understudy/swing.  That cast is small(!), and it really can't afford to get any smaller.  -Heck, Andre is actually one of Mary Testa's understudies with the way the doubling works for that small cast.  *Although, I would love to see Andre on for Mary one day - now that would be comedy!  ;)

Don't you just hate it when it only rains INSIDE the elevator?

Yes, singdaw, that has always been one of my pet peeves. One of yours, too?

Thanks for the explanation and insight, DR Jose.

It's GREAT having true insiders and folks in the know here to shoot down rumors and untrue/unfair gossip.

Now, for the real gossip, . . . . BRING IT ON!   ;D

Oh!   Not, not at all.

I see he's lurking.  Probably catching up!

I've been catching up, and trying to post while the internet connection here stays connected.  It was spotty a little while ago, but it seems fine now.

I was very sorry to hear about Don Herbert's death.  I too was an enormous "Mr. Wizard" fan, and tried to never miss his TV show.

Also, dear Kerry informed me yesterday that Nellie Lutcher (sp?) had died.  hmmmmm,.... I wonder who's next?

And how is DR KERRY, MUSIC GUY? Do tell him we miss him.

Ooh!  Ooh!

Amazon.com just sent me notification I'm getting a REFUND....$1.56, to be precise.

That's the difference between the pre-order price and current price of "Michael Tolliver Lives"!

Do you have a preference, or will either package delivery do?

Had a wonderful, if hurried, lunch with MBarnum yesterday, as I journeyed south to Salem to play for the Methodists (a To Kill a Mockingbird reference, and a propos in this instance).  I return this evening and think I will go back to the same restaurant--really, really yummy Gardenburger which I know BK especially would enjoy.   :P

Betsy and I started The History Boys about a week ago and I must say that, while it wasn't bad (and I especially enjoyed the one kid who sings), it just kind of left me cold, and we haven't returned to it yet.  Guess we should get around to finishing it.

It's a most strange and unusual day in this office.

All four women who work here are IN EARLY for a major change in routine (one usually arrives at 9, another at 9:30, and the boss is seldom not here until 11 a.m.)

The distaff side is me and three other guys.  Thus far, I'm the only guy.  And the hormonal balance is WAY off at present.
