I was trying to find a MP3 to post but I guess I'm just to tired.

BTW, I'm thrilled to see that Babylon 5 lives! There is a NEW DVD called: Babylon 5 - The Lost Tales.

I just had to have it so I preordered it and can't WAIT to receive it.

I also want the 2nd Season of Beauty and the Beast. I loved that show. I'll get that one a bit later.

On the film music board, there was some discussion about the old Bay Cities CD of Korngold's Elizabeth and Essex, which was reissued by Varese. My memory of it was that we all thought it was great (it was Bay Cities first big original orchestral recording), but when I heard it a few years ago that I was astonished that the sound wasn't at all what I remembered. And now, it doesn't sound half-bad. There's some sketchy playing in the opening track, but the sound, while a big "digital" and harsh on the brass, is not an embarrassment.

Cool. I have a 2 - 3 day trial (probably 2 day) starting on Sept. 17. I'm in the process of setting another trial date I've already told them I'm not available the end of September or beginning of October. So that should cover it.

I spoke to DR Elmore on the phone. He was having dinner with DRs Musicguy, Jose, and Jason. No electical problems where they were for which I am grateful.

Ok, just to get this over...the day was quite uneventful, not a card - not much of anything. Just a "Are you coming back when you get done at the jail? No? Well, good bye then." And there you have it. It was clearly a slap in the face, but I didn't let them know it bothered me. I did email 2 judges secretaries to let them know that since my office didn't have the usual coffee/cake for me, I was having an open house. Both of them were outraged that the people in my office were so inconsiderate, and they both talk to everyone. So, they showed their true colors, but I will have a wonderful open house on my birthday with all the people who would have gone to the going away party and I am now free. The best thing is it will be a celebration of a new start and that's a much more positive thing. Mom said she wants to send me money to buy a nice flower arrangement for the conference table for my open house. That will be very nice.

As for the trials, they are criminal cases I am taking with me. The one set for the 17th should really happen, the other probably won't but you never know.
