It was released on DVD a few years ago.  It's still available from just about any retailer

My high school did a production in the spring of 1976, being a mere freshman and a female....I ran the follow spot

Well, I have done not much of anything today.  I did manage to get a hair cut. I was disgusted with the last stylist I went to, she kept doing the Dorothy Hamel wedge thing, not me.  So of course I decided I had to have it cut today when the third string has the scissors.  It's all right, a little too short here and there. It will look fine in a couple weeks

There are fireworks tonight at the Country Club which is only a couple blocks from my house.  They don't advertise them, but they do them every year and they did have it posted on their website.  So shortly after dark, I will walk out into the street and down two houses where the view is better and watch the fireworks.

One of these evenings I need to get some photos of the turkey buzzards. They have taken up residence on the cell phone tower across from Sonic. Hundreds of them.  I was going to photograph them tonight, but my battery was almost shot, so it is recharging as I type and I'll try to get them later this week

That's a great story, Jason!  Someday (and soon, I'm sure) you'll be there, too! ;D

I think so too. :D

HAPPY ALICE DAY

For those of you who did not know, today is the day when Lewis Carroll (Charles L. Dodgson) first told the story of Wonderland to Lorina, Alice, and Edith Liddell, daughters to the Dean of Oxford.

I took a loooooong nap! And am now watching my Bollywood movie of the weekend...one that I purchased in Little India (aka Jackson Heights) and which was recommended to me by the clerk at the store...MANNAT (2006) starring Jimmy Shergill, Kulraj Randhawa, Kanwaljit Singh and Deep Dhillon...25 minutes into it and it is quite good.

A drama about an army officer and a village girl who fall in love amidst the terrorist turmoil in the state of Punjab in 1985.

DR Laura, I also enjoyed the tale.

JRand-I didn’t see a response to your Bosco question.  Bosco stayed with friends and is back home now.

As has been mentioned DR JEANNE - the Topper Tv series DVD's are okay....Kathleen Freeman plays a maid in some of the episodes, and it's funny to see Leo G. Carroll as Topper.  Anne Jeffreys and Robert Sterling are very good as the ghosts....but the stories are not so hot.

Did any Dear Reader DVR or otherwise record TWO TICKETS TO BROADWAY when it was on TCM last month or so?

I would like to have a copy to give to the director of SUNSHINE BOYS because of the Smith and Dale routines in it.

And speaking of Bollywood, I am very happy that Rodzinski braved going to see an Indian film with me while I was in NYC...and as he  mentioned it was quite a good film...sort of a gangster drama love story with wonderful music...Rodzinski even picked up the CD soundtrack!

The film was AWARAPAN and it starred Emraan Hashmi who is a fantastic actor...he can act rings around most performers just with his eyes alone.

Rodzinski was quite taken with the two female leads, neither of whom I was familiar with...I think this may have been their debut film as the IMDB doesn't seem to list any other credits for them.

DR JRand, I think I may have it on DVDr...my interviewee Angela Stevens has a tiny role in the film and I am pretty sure I recorded it. I shall check.

It is very hot in Salem, Oregon, USA.

I was supposed to go to a July 4th partay, but have decided to not attend...I just don't feel like leaving the home environment today. I shall watch movies instead.

Good choice.

And of course as everyone watches THE PRODIGAL, they might watch for Miss Allison Hayes as the girl with long red hair on the Carousel of Beauty.

Hi folks!  Happy 4th of July!

I took the dogs to the dog park for a good two hour run today in hopes it would tired them out for tonight.  It seems to be working because Bear is passed out on the couch yet they are shooting off fireworks outside.

I heard from the guy from MOSI again.  They are still looking for Mom's star.  I can only guess that it is a new star and their software just isn't up to date.

Sleep study is this Friday.  I am so hoping that if they do a video tape that they will let me see it.

I also decided to paint Mom's room Polar Bear White.  Later on, I'll do a accent wall in what ever color I decide is best.  I am also going to try to do the rest of the house.  I know the living room has to be done.  The hall and bathroom aren't very big so they won't take long.

I hope everyone is doing good.  Vibes to those who need them.

The Salmonella poisoning in the Bootie snacks probably came from seasonings made in China….
