Callie left me a big stinky present in the basement litterbox this morning...it was a great way to start the week. Tonight she has been hilarious playing, chasing Boo and making it known that she is feeling quite well, thank you very much

Oh, puh-leeze.

Manhattan style is tomato based and brothy.

New England style is milk/cream based.  No tomatoes.

Manhattan style is not available here readily

This is coming to Seattle next week.  I was thinking about going, but I don't have a lot of time with rehearsals, and all.  I still might go up...we'll see. :)

DR George - if you have a chance, go see it, you'll be glad you did.

I just bought a ticket. ;) Orchestra Right, seat C7, on the far right outside aisle.  THIRD row from the stage!! ... well, fourth row, if you count the front row in the center and left sections that doesn't continue on the right:

Are we in Cinerama??

Well, whether we're in Cinerama or not, I'm off to rehearsal.  Until later!

I think Manhattan Style Clam chowder is tomato based and New England Style Clam Chowder is cream based....but I don't know for sure.

WONDER HOW THE FUND RAISER is going?  Did MR BK say where he was going to be spending the show, in the audience, backstage, or in the booth, or in the pit.....

Why My Mother Has Two Pictures of Me Smashing a Dill Pickle With a Hammer

Today is Guy Fawkes Day, which is when British people who still hold a grudge against the aforementioned Mr. Fawkes burn him in effigy. I personally have no issue with Guy Fawkes, but I do have a beef with a certain person whom I have nicknamed The Pickle for reasons that are a story in themselves. I didn't think I could actually burn a pickle in effigy, so I smashed it with a hammer.

I like the way nobody asked why DR Sandra was smashing a pickle with a hammer. You all just assumed it was normal behavior for her, I guess.

I know it might seem strange, but this just gave me the biggest laugh of any post in quite a while.

If I'm not mistaken, Manhattan clam chowder is tomato-based. New England clam chowder has cream.

Isn't Manhattan Clam Chowder the tomato based one? And the New England Clam Chowder is that white creamy base.

Oh, and just in case anyone missed my response a few pages back...

New England Clam Chowder has New England clams in it, and Manhattan Clam Chowder has Manhattan clams in it.  New England clams are partial to cream and/or milk, while Manhattan clams are partial to tomatoes.
