NBC's "Life" is one of the "few" TV highlights of each week for me.
Damian Lewis' character (Charlie Crews) is one of the few truly refreshing characters on the small screen, IMO.
Last night's episode, as I see it (about all the episodes, thus far) wasn't about plotting (are there ANY original plots any more?) but about character development of all the principals.
DR MattH: I can't see any possibility for a three-way between Charlie, Adam Arkin's character and Olivia, the attorney. Charlie has evidenced no romantic/sexual attractions for her, which is primarily why she considered moving to NYC for a while. Anything between them, so far as Charlie is concerned, is client/attorney-friend. That episode where he told her she should not represent a client was not his way of being "possessive" about her, IMO, but about his reading of the character of the man who was trying to get a good deal like the one she got for Charlie.
I think she and Arkin played extremely well off one another in last night's episode...and I look forward to seeing that relationship development.
The actress who portrayed Mary Ann Farmer in last night's episode was truly lovely, and an exceptional actress, IMO.
