I ordered the Pearl Bailey Hello, Dolly! and also How Now, Dow Jones from them fairly recently; they are legit and provided good service.
DR MBarnum, half the time I'm thinking you're making these movies up.Who could possibly have greenlighted some of them?
The sound you hear is Richard Rodgers spinning in his grave.
Can y'all tell that I'm catching up on publishers' catalogs and review journals? Here's another book of interest:Riverside Park: The Splendid Sliver, by Edward Grimm; photos by E. Peter Schroeder - an illustrated tribute to Frederick Law Olmsted's "other" city sanctuary
This might be a bit of looking the gift horse in the mouth, but how was the sound quality of the recordings?
Methinks DR Singdaw doesn't go to the movies much.
Thanks for posting this, Ginny! My filmmaking partner lives a block from the park so I've spent a lot of time there. This will be a good holiday gift for him!
DR Ginny - unless your library has it [or can borrow it], that may prove to be very difficult.
Spoo.Sorry, DR JRand57. I guess I was distracted by Lyle Waggoner's nether regions.
OK, a mini-rant. Does this make any sense? The color laser printer, which serves about 50 people in the immediate vicinity, has just run out of toner. Purchasing will not allow us to keep a spare, or to order a cartridge until the current one runs out. So now we will all be without the use of this printer until Monday or Tuesday next week, when a cartridge can be obtained through the normal procurement chanels.I mean, honestly!
I quite agree. How are you situated for vests, straps and other leather accoutrements?
DR MBarnum, a still from the film called MEET THE SPARTANS and due out in 2008. This movie has "Mikey Barnum" written all over it, and there should be lots of actors who will be the same age as you around 30 years from now when you're no longer cruising the retirement homes but living in one.
I am hoping against hope that some day this shall be released on DVD. I've never seen it, although I have the 3-disc CD soundtrack.
Oh, so you traveled to the link which provided his PLAYGIRL poses?
I'm not sure it's "cheesy" enough.
C'mon over, ColeSlaw, and I will fire up the LaserDisc Player. . .
Well, in my car they sounded just fine, but I'm no audiophile! I didn't detect any audible difference between these and regular CD issues.
Happily, I have all those oop CDs.
I think the beefcake quotient will satisfy all of his Rape of the Sabine fantasies.
Good news for my iPod; bad news for my bank account... I'm seeing a bunch of things in their catalog that I'm liable to start picking up. Y'know, considering the huge swath of maroon on my CD shelves where all the Varese Sarabande albums are, you could at least be considerate enough to not brag in my presense...
DR td, are you vying for the title The Enabler II?
