I watched the Mamie Van Doren film GIRLS TOWN this morning...boy, was she blonde! Of course her character's name is Silver. And Gloria Talbott wears the same dress she wears in I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE.

I am now caught up. It took less time than I thought.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. Simple, quiet and happy.

On Saturday evening Anthony, Rose (his mother) and I played Trivial Pursuit. I won.

On Friday we visited with a dear friend and helped him set up his IONiTT USB10 turntable. We have been looking into buying. Since Alfred bought one and isn't so technically adept we got a chance to see how it works and how easy it was to set up. We will most likely have a turntable by the end of the year.

I'm listening to (what else) the BBC on line. As I mentioned last week, the computer on Long Island is on the way out. Getting on line is a chore so we did not go online from Wednesday until Sunday when we returned to the Apartment in NYC.

Rose may buy a new computer but if I buy a new one before she does we will take our old system out to Long Island. Our computer is newer and better than the system out there now. It runs Windows 98 and has a 3 gig hard drive and is as slow as the proverbial molasses. It's also 10 years old. Oh, well, electronics don't last forever.
