Fed Ex vibes, travel vibes, and all-around happiness vibes to elmore.

Thanks for the vibes, everybody!  Keep 'em coming.

Charlotte's flight is scheduled for an hour from now, so I'm hoping she's on time.  Her parents have a full day: funeral service for the father of one of their voice students, then some competition at the Metropoloitan Opera, and then THE FANTASTICKS.  I'm on standby.

I've got all 42 labels now inside the plastic pouches.  Tomorrow morning, I'll cart the boxes into the hallway and stick the pouches to the cartons.

I appreciate your efforts.  I've been both places & they don't have what I'm looking for.  I have found the first Gerber baby numerous places, and other after the dates I'm looking for.  With today's wealth of info on the internet there "must" be something on all the babies.

Jane, why don't you contact Gerber's by e-mail and ask them directly?

DR Ron Pulliam - do you plan to display any of the posters on your walls, or is this not that sort of thing?

I guess that was easier than leveling the hill side! Great view either way.

Is that an arm of Commencement Bay?

Yes, it is.

From DerBrucer:

Does alternating wet with kibble work?

Of course contents & quality of the food are important & without knowing them I can only comment on the difference between wet and dry.

Alternating wet & dry does work, however…..

Cats often don’t get enough liquid on dry food.  For now I recommend you stay with a good quality canned food.  If you find a new family for him soon they can decide what they want to feed him.  If not you can research various foods and decide what you want to do.

Hello, all!

I have a friend dropping by at 2 and then at 4:30 another friend is coming by with her husband, who is a fantastic carpenter. He is going to stay with my DH and they will plan the project they are doing next week, which involves me moving everything from the bookcases---records, books and lots of art and pottery.

She and I will go to another friend's log cabin to dig plants. The family sold this property to split it amoung the heirs, and the log cabin will be destroyed, but she is going to try to trqansplant as many plants as possible to my yard for safekeeping until she finds a place of her own.

So the girls will be digging, and then fixing dinner for the boys.

We should be back around mid-show. We won't be going to the Oscar party we went to last year because the hosts have called it off this year. A first---but they are busy having a baby!

So...no "FLAN'S LABYRINTH".

Many of you may have seen this clip, and I apologize if I missed it when it was posted before.

This is fantastic.  The dancing dog.  2 minutes long.

We will join you in spirit - we plan on the 3PM showing, then the new Buffet (Chinese not Warren) for an easy pre-Oscar bash.

der Brucer

I got there and they cancelled the 1:00 PM show because the theater was rented, but there is a 3:10 show, so they gave me a free movie pass and I'll go back then. I'm watching In the Valley of Elah right now. I probably won't be able to see it all, but at least I can see part of it.

Oh dear - how many lovely silk worm moths gave their lives for your pleasure - oh the inhumanity!

der Brucer

Now about that fox thingy....

Re the fox thingy. It died long ago. So, since it's already dead and gone, why not wear it? I doubt that I would buy any furs now.

How many cucumbers gave their lives for BK's cucumberbund? Are silk worms any more sacred than cucumbers?

Good afternoon. Cant' stay. I just realized No Country for Old Men is playing at the $3.00 movie theater and if I hurry I can make the 1:00 PM Matinee. Then I'll come home and watch In the Valley of Elah and my Oscar movie count will be an even 20 nominated movies.

A $3 movie! The cheapest I pay is $7.

(Just watch: Jose will know where I can find a cheaper flick.)

Well, now that they cancelled the show for a theater rental....it's free.

For now I recommend you stay with a good quality canned food.

He's feasting on Giant's store brand "Companion" - various flavors - JJ seems to enjoy them all equally,; and he does drink water. His digestive track seems content - the litter box now has turds bigger than Mikey's. (And the litter mat has done the trick).

The general consensus at the meeting was that it could have started at ten.  Happily, no traffic at eight in the morning and got down there in forty minutes.  Meeting was over by ten.

I then went and had a little breakfast at a nearby jernt, and then found my way to a Panera a few miles from the theater -  I think this will become my hangout when I get here early on weekdays.  Nice free wi-fi.

I do believe our very own Cason has made a bad decision and will not be auditioning for the role of Zubrick.  Everyone has to audition, it's their deal, but they assured me I'd be fine to use him.  I've tried and tried to make him understand the importance of this decision, but he seems to be in a weird place.

Perhaps Miss Karen will e me before it's too late.  Cason had concerns about car-pooling and his one evening class, and I responded saying all that could be worked out, as I know for a fact that at least two of our cast members and me will be coming from LA.

(Just watch: Jose will know where I can find a cheaper flick.)

Our tiny local mall has a six-plex that shows films just a little later than the big 12-plex.

Currently playing:
Rambo
Cloverfield
No Country For Old Men
National Treasure
I Am Legend
Water Horse
Enchanted

All shows $3.00
