You know, I hate dislike hate not being able to post during the day at work.  Instead, when I get home from work, I go through and read all of the posts and respond; and mine all end up in one big clump.  I suppose that is easier for those people who prefer to skip my posts entirely.

I wonder if that was one of those homeland security wiretaps. I feel much safer now.

I am finding that out this past week, too...and I don't like it.  No, not one bit!   >:(

Back from a lovely dinner at a great restaraunt just two blocks from our home.  We both had the gorgonzola salad with onions.  I had meatloaf and a baked potato, the DH had tilapia.

It might have been healthier for both of you if you had them add some lettuce to the gorgonzola!

I don't!!  A guy I used to work with made that joke all the time, and I guess it "stuck."

So...does the part of Dolly Dimples in Sideshow traditionally get played by a male?

See, Coleslaw, you and I are having our own little party - with an occasional barb from Ron.

I guess having gone to law school with the governor of NY is not such a great honor now, is it?  :)

I believe that the Artistic Director of Capital Playhouse would feel like a failure if he couldn't sneak at least one drag queen into every show.

I was actually a year ahead of Mr. Spitzer in law school, so I have that excuse.

ONE STEP BEYOND was the show that scared the feathers out of me.  The music alone was scary, but some of the epsiodes gave me nightmares for days nights.  I always swore that I would never watch that program again..... but I did.

And then there was the THRILLER episode about the mirror.

It is ironic that in these days of Freddy Krueger and Jason and the Friday the 13th guy; those terrifying dramas of our youth seem rather harmless today.

There are still THRILLER episodes like "Pigeons From Hell" that I don't want to watch alone now!

Why, Tom!  Do you feel I'm "barbing" you?

I assure you, my barbs are only aimed at stingshanks!

Oh don't get me wrong, Ron, I love your barbs; especially when they are aimed at someone else.

singdaw - Actually, Spitzer was born in June 1959, and I was born in May 1960.

It must have been the influence of the 1950's that made the difference.

Here's something fun that Richard just emailed to me:

Subject: Retirement Choices

Where to Live After Retirement

You can live in the Midwest where... 1. You've never met any celebrities, but the mayor knows your name. 2. Your idea of a traffic jam is ten cars waiting to pass a tractor. 3. You have had to switch from 'heat' to 'A/C' on the same day. 4 . You end sentences with a preposition: 'Where's my coat at?' 5. When asked how your trip was to any exotic place, you say , 'It was different!'

TEN CARS!!!  That's an awful lot of cars waiting for a tractor....I'd say 5 is a traffic jam. At 10 they are alerting the local news
