Well, you've read the notes, you've pardoned the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the ranting cows come home.

Today's notes have yesterday's date.  That is all.

Well, I need to go to sleep.  Our call time for every day this week is 5:30 pm, and that's pretty early for me.  I ususally get to work later than most people ;) and leave later, also.  So, I now need to get to work earlier than I usually and leave in time to get something to eat and get to the theater by 5:30.  So, off to bed am I.

Good night, all.

Oy and vey - another byproduct of this stupid early daylight savings time.  Our timestamp won't change until the real daylight savings time comes along.

I could be wrong, but I think the only investor worried about his investment has already been compensated.

Monday morning greetings!  A new work week and many "how did you get along in the snowstorm" stories.

My mother and her siblings all have acritochromacy.  My sister and I do not, but have been told that we could have transmitted it to our children.  When the pediatrician gave a test like the one that DR Singdaw posted earlier to our DS Rob, I watched over his shoulder holding my breath until Rob indentified the teddy bear in the picture.

Good morning, all! Count me amongst the Daylight Savings Loathers!  The alarm went off at 7, and I knew it was still 6 am, no matter what the man is trying to sell me.

So, I'm out of bed and showered and on my first cup of coffee.  Today, I have to hit the NYPL, which doesn't open till noon, to look at an unpublished memoir about the founding of ASCAP, return my signed contract to Rodgers & Hammerstein, stop at the pharmacy, and write a few words about Victor Herbert's work.  I also have a phone call to make concerning a small FANTASTICKS job.

I'm getting old; I swear I never saw any NIGHT GALLERY episodes and I have next to no memory of TWILIGHT ZONE except for Agnes Morehead and the astronauts.

Here in Arizona, we have no need to save daylight in the summertime. If we could, we'd give some back!

Good morning!

Beautiful day and looks to be a beautiful week with highs every day in the 60s. Spring is arriving a bit early this year.

new MEDIUM

premiere of CANTERBURY'S LAW, a new legal drama with Juliana Margules (8 p.m.)

The great and most memorable episodes of TWLIGHT ZONE would fill this entire page.

Off the top of my head:

"Eye of the Beholder" (probably will always be the most shocking episode I ever saw of the show)

"The After Hours"

"22" (haunted me for weeks after I saw it)

"The Howling Man"

"The Odyssey of Flight 33"

"Time Enough at Last"

"Living Doll" (Talking Tina, another one that chilled my blood)

"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet"

"The Dummy"

"To Serve Man"

:The Hitch-Hiker"

NIGHT GALLERY had fewer memorable shows though some of the best were really unforgettable.

My favorites:

the pilor episode which had three very wonderful stories

"They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar"

"Green Fingers"

"Camera Obscura"

"The Caterpillar"

"The Sins of the Fathers"

"The Ring with the Red Velvet Ropes"

"Spectre in Tap Shoes"

Today I'll finish the bonus disc in the ANTONIO GAUDI set. Unless I get some discs in today's mail, I'm at the bottom of my current review stack. This means I'll get to sample some DVDs, Blu-rays, and HD-DVDs from the stacks overpowering me at the moment.

I did have a good night's sleep last night, surprising for the night after the DST switch. I slept very poorly the night we switched over.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I have to head out of here shortly for a very short - one hour - casting session in midtown, and then it's back here to take of some laundry, and sort through some mail.

As for "Night Gallery", hmm... I think I've mentioned this one before, and I'm still not sure if it really was a "Night Gallery" episode or some other copy-cat program, but... It was a take on the Dorian Gray story, and the "Dorian" character was named "Jose".  So, the final scene involved his wife/lover/girlfriend/??? pounding on the guy's door while yelling, "Jose!  Jose!  Jose?!?".

Ah, those Color Blindness tests... Each year in high school, they would line us up in the gym, and we would get our height and weight(!) measured, as well as take those color-differentiation number tests.  -It was a nice way to get out of a class.  ;)  -Well, maybe except for the weight part since the nurse's assistant would always ended up "yelling" the numbers over to the person who was writing them all down.  It was slightly traumatic for some of the girls and the boys having that information become "public".
