DR Jane - I am appalled that the dentist will charge you that amount of money to fix a problem that he, in part, created.

As I said earlier, I chose PINOCCHIO to watch when I got back in from lunch. Such a fine film, but it's one Disney classic that needs a bit of work and that hasn't been given the Platinum Edition treatment with a disc full of bonus features. The movie has some dirt specks and other debris (not much, but it's there). They repurposed the soundtrack to form a Dolby Digital 4.0 mix, but the original mono is not on the disc. That certainly needs to be added to the next release.

I think I read Disney is doing a new edition of the film for 2009. Certainly it needs a new edition, more so than SLEEPING BEAUTY which gets another special edition in the fall (along with a Blu-ray release).

I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No Luke or Noah, but they were featured in the previews.

I’m going with uncomfortable vs painful.

Remind Keith about the "in sickness" and "better or worse" part of his vows - you deserve a pamper!

Haven't decided what I'll watch when I go back down. I'm not quite ready to start on the BET reality show (COLLEGE HILL INTERNS), though I'll likely start doing it tomorrow.

I may watch KINGDOM OF HEAVEN tonight (or at least start it; I think it'll be too long for me to see the whole thing before MY NAME IS EARL begins.)

Yes and no.  It was been in a few years & he also feels I should wear a night guard to protect my teeth.  I didn't want to spend the $1,200.  I am wondering about the cost of the lab-rather high.  But then I think the crown he put in for Keith was close to $3,000, which is why Keith is using a different dentist this time.

The poor guy weed-wacked for 3 hours today & has bruises all over his body from flying rocks.  I'm sitting at the computer while he continues to do yard work.  I think I should be pampering him.

Instead I'm going to take Sherlock for a hike.

It is still less than the crown Keith is getting on Monday, & I think they opted not to do the most expensive kind, so I'm hoping his holds.

There's a rumor floating about today that Fran Drescher will be Morgan le Fey in the NY Philharmonic concert of CAMELOT.  I really hope this is true; she'll bevery funny, and hopefully we'll get a recording of "The Persuasion." Finally.

MattH, the Platinum Series PINOCCHIO is set for 2009.

Much sooner, by the way, is a Tyrone Power box set July 29th, if you haven't already heard.

My buddy Jim, who is in China at this very moment, just had a big meal at the home of someone who lives there...among other things he ate duck feet and duck heart.

Yes, I had heard, but thanks for the reminder. That seems like a long way off, but it'll be here before we know it.

Well, I got the call this morning...there is no performance of Side Show tonight.  This is good.  I will thoroughly enjoy another night off and I'll be able to watch "Lost"!!  AND it won't affect how much I get paid...as far as I know. ;)

Sorry about dental problems for DR Jane and DH Keith. Having had my share of fillings, crowns and even a bridge years ago, I can empathize.

I'm waiting for the tree guys to finish before taking Sherlock.  They moved their very loud truck next to my car just as I was about to leave.  The car is parked so I can get out, I just don't want to walk Sherlock past the noise if I don't have to.  They are throwing all the tree branches into a bed shredder.

Aside from trimming trees they have removed a few dead trees off of our deck.  Now the deck will need fixing to fill in the holes.  Not the best timing for us to be cracking portions of our teeth off. ;D

Are they doing the original Broadway version?

Because all the subsquent productions I have seen on tour the character has been eleminated.
