You're welcome, DR Elmore.  Yesterday at Kroger, we saw the actress who played Vera Charles in our infamous Auntie Mame.  She was working as a product demonstrator for a product whose website just almost crashed my computer.

Who played Vera Charles? That production has the sophistication of an Ozark clan.  I have mercifully forgotten next to everything about it. Except, of course, for my brilliant performance.

I would have been better than the actress they cast.

Or were you asking DR Ginny?

I keep thinking that you and DR JRand500, whatever the new number is, would be fantastic in IDAHO!

May she rest in peace. She was a good lady and a good friend.

DR Elmore - should we tell all these nice people which parts we played in this opus?

BK bans political talk and the Dow falls nearly 800 points.  Mere coincidence?  I think not!

Good Evening!

Well... After I had finished my cup of Salted Caramel Frozen Custard at Shake Shack, I decided to walk around a bit, taking pics of the newer Tree Huts.  While I was walking around, I happened to get a text from my friend, Michael, saying that he was in line at Shake Shack, and was about to order their special Concrete for the day, Apples and Honey Cake.  So, I walked back over to the line, and found him and his friend, Kent, and ended up sitting with them while they ate their lunch.

*And, yes, I did try some of that Apples and Honey Cake Concrete... Happy New Year!  :)

Well, the spaghetti feast was a great success...as were the vegan chocolate cupcakes that my sister and I made last night. :D

Several people asked for the recipe.  I brought the book to work and scanned the recipe into a PDF file, so if anyone here wants it also, just let me know. :)

We won't have a final $$ count from the silent auctions until later today.  The raffles (a hand-made quilt and a hand-made necklace) however, won't actually be finished until we have a minimum number of tickets sold.  I guess the quilt raffle has met the minimum and the necklace is getting close.
