Not that our corgis aren't pushy, but Molly can be pretty demanding.

But think of the cute puppies:

I'm feeling better today - I think I know the path and I'm fine with the path, and I now shall come back to the world of merriment and mirth and laughter and legs.

I am now thinking about food, always a good sign.  I didn't eat until ten-forty last night, which is ridiculous, and then I was so hungry I ate a little more than I should have.

So, today I think I'll eat early and be done with it.

This was too logical a point to believe that anyone actually copied this matter from HHW, but it is a sign that HHW is on the cutting edge:  It was days ago that the question came up as to whether Newark is a little close to Broadway for NJPAC to be presenting THE PRODUCERS and HAIRSPRAY, and now that issue has been taken up on other sites.  Again, it's a logical observation, but now that it's becoming the talk of some of the theater-related internet remember you read it here on HHW first.

FJL, there is no question it was seen here first - each and every theater website has people who read the notes and the discussion board here every day, and take what they want.  Don't kid yourself into thinking it's a coincidence - it ain't.

Should I get to post #2100 while waiting for my tax-related appointment to arrive?

BK - Confidentially, I thought that was the case, but I didn't want to say it.

2100 posts is a major event!
Isn't there a TV show called THE 2100?
Not to be confused with THE 700 CLUB.

How 'bout an LP cover from the Rodzinski Collection?

It's the Pete Jensen Combo and they look like they're having a blast.

Thanks for the perspective, Rodzinski.

I just thought that 2100 only signified the legal drinking age on HHW, but I guess there's a lot more to it.

I have decided on today's meal - a steak and a baked potato made by my very own self.

Steak is broiling now, baked potato is in the microwave.  If I can take it easy on the butter for the baked potato, it will be a very not so caloric and protein-enriched meal.

And the word of the day is: SLATTERN!

That is the planet that Daffy Duck went to in that outer space cartoon.

Who here watches GHOST WHISPERER?

Comments below on the season finale.

Jennifer, I have been waiting for your comments on GHOST WHISPERER.  I cried during several parts of the episode, but lost it completely at the end.

Good morning!

It rained for much of the morning, but it has stopped for the present. It's very cool and altogether yucky outside with more rain supposedly on the way.

A nice day to stay inside, do laundry, and watch movies. This is the plan.

Matt, could you stop by and do my laundry, also?  I don't think I can manage to get it down the two flights of stairs.

I don't know if it was the bad Daffy Duck pun, the request for help with the laundry, or the admission that I totally lost it during GHOST WHISPERER.

I have had a delightful musical afternoon.

I began with the DVD of THREE LITTLE WORDS. It looks smashing, the best it's ever looked on video. There's a bit of solor instability during "Nevertheless," but otherwise, it's perfection. I also remembered how much I adore the romantic dance "Thinking of You" that Astaire and Vera-Ellen do, one of the great dance duets of all musicals, I think, because it's so unaffected and elegant.
