OH!

DR Jane - While walking around SoHo on Sunday, I did make a quick stop into Animazing Gallery... Yep, the jewelry is still there.  :)

I forgot to mention best friend John's critique of BOMBAY DREAMS. He loathed it. His exact words were, "My impression is contained within the title itself. Well, the first word of the title minus the last two letters."

I watched the MEDIUM rerun from last night. This one was an extension of a first season episode (which I just rewatched a few days ago) featuring an insane 19th century doctor whose spirit inhabited present-day doctors making them butcher female patients.

Now, the doctor's spirit was back seeking new victims. Quite an effective episode, one of the best of the season.

Next, I put in the DVD of SUNDAY BLOODY SUNDAY. I hadn't watched this marvelous film in many, many years (had the laserdisc). The DVD transfer is one of MGM's ridiculous 1.66:1 non-anamorphic efforts, but despite that, it was sharp, excellent color (by Deluxe) for a 1970s movie, and pretty much free of damage, too. Can't complain if this is all we're going to get for this title. I can easily and happily live with it.

I have a headache today.

Don't know why.  Guess it's sinus-related, although I believe myself to be breathing freely.

Perhaps it's just something in the air....

Finished my afternoon viewing with another WILD WILD WEST episode, this time with an impossibly young looking Sam Wanamaker as guest villain. Entertaining episode about mind control, and we got some choice shots of Robert Conrad's bare upper torso, always worth the price of admission.

I guess he didn't like "Moulin Rouge," then....?

I'm guessing he's kinda saggy now....

I'm excited about seeing BONES return to the schedule at least for tonight. Fox has been showing SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE reruns in its time slot this summer, but tonight Fox is airing it at 9 after a HOUSE rerun. Will be great to get reacquainted with the characters.

I don't think he's ever seen it. He certainly didn't borrow my copy.

And I don't know what's up with the mail delivery.

My Shirley Temple boxed set (with CAPTAIN JANUARY and others) shipped last Friday, and I expected it yesterday. Not only did it not come yesterday, it didn't come today either!

Boo!

I guess it's down there by the docks on the good ship Lollipop!

And, of course, there's a new episode of RESCUE ME tonight. I'll be recording BOSTON LEGAL since they haven't yet gotten to the point in the season where I started watching.

Perhaps some postal workers are watching it while crumbling up some animal crackers in their soup.

MBarnum-glad to know you have learned to appreciated Peter Brown.

I’m not so sure about the name Hamilton Burger.  Hamilton on its own is interesting on a personal basis.  You are correct, I’m looking for great fictional or authors names

Heading down to continue reading Berg's Kate Hepburn biography, clean the living room, and then get set for evening TV.

The good ship Lollipop was an airplane.

Clark Kent is one of my favorite fictional names.

I also like Judith Traherne.

Of course Miss Ayn Rand came up with my favorites:

Dagny Taggart and Dominique Francon.
Howard Roark and Francisco D'Anconia and Hank Reardon.
And John Galt.

Who is John Galt?

DR MBarnum - I think you might be interested in Playbill.com's latest Leading Men feature since it features Brian d'Arcy James.

THE LEADING MEN: James' Con

*There's also a nice pic of Mr. James as well as Scott Coulter who was in the reading of Dear Edwina last week.

Thanks JoseP! Nice interview with Brian...and that picture of him was ...wowee! And he mentioned his uncle Brian Kelly and that made me very happy!

I must now see DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS if it is playing when/if I get to New York this year!!

Minerva McGonagall
Sirius Black
Dolores Umbridge
Gilderoy Lockhart
Alastor Moody
Sybill Patricia Trelawney
Olympe Maxime
Kingsley Shacklebolt
Cornelius Fudge
