TCB - Not only Mets fans, but Mets fans in Mets T-shirts.  I think it was T-shirt night at Shea.

They are doing great. They are laying as close to each other as I've seen them without the occasional hissing and batting with paws. It's really helping that I've been home every night this week and will be home over the weekend. We are settling into a routine, and as I'm sure you know, cats love routine

I've been reading the Curtains reviews.  They are actually pretty much what I expected.  The show has really good stuff, but it still has things to work out. Qualified positive reviews.

Boo has more energy than any cat I've ever seen.  She just gets hyperactive every once in awhile.  I know she's young, but she never ceases to amaze me

Cillaliz, did you hear that a couple days ago, one of the alleged Serial Shooters held a press conference. He talked to the press for about ten minutes, until his  just-appointed public defender came in and stopped it.

We had a horrific series of thunderstorms one after another tonight starting around 8. There is still some lightning in the area, and there may be another line of storms on the way tomorrow.

Yep, after all this rain, I'll definitely be mowing Sunday, if it's not raining!

Oh the contrary, I have often heard that Mr. Hyde Pierce plays the organ.

And you know what they say.
What better than having orchids on the piano? Why tulips on your organ.

Watched the last hour or so of HOLIDAY IN MEXICO. I did not know it was 127 minutes long, about thirty minutes longer than it should have been. It was a nice introduction to Jane Powell as an MGM Technicolor star (she had two two loan-outs to UA in black and white), but it just went on and on with its silly plots of teenaged girls falling for older men (Jose Iturbi? whose sister and grandchildren are part of the cast).

Even though Jane got to sing "The Italian Street Song" and other operetta gems, I decided not to burn a copy of this musical for myself.

The two GREY'S ANATOMY episodes were riveting. The first dealt with lies going on between many members of the cast and their patients.

The second dealt with a strike of nurses at the hospital with adorable George honoring their strike.

And then I watched the CSI episode I had recorded at 9. (This is probably what I'll be doing during the new season: watching GREY'S ANATOMY live and recording CSI and then watching it at 10. The new James Woods lawyer show doesn't interest me much.)

The CSI episode came back to me pretty thoroughly, but I watched it to the end just in case I hadn't remembered everything about it.

Yeah, I am too. I don't think I really could have parted with Boo, but it wasn't pleasant.  They are fighting a little tonight, but that's normal and Boo keeps clawing my new furniture, I've been clipping her claws, but she still seems to dig in....it's always something ;D

I thought he presented quite well, and if I were on a jury I might well believe what he said. Which is why I should never be on a jury.

Hmm sounds interesting. Is this the one that said it wasn't him it was his buddy?

The Radio has already started going off. great.  Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 4:00 AM and the radar shows it looming in Nebraska and South Dakota heading our way.

Looming in Nebraska...that's the title of my next book

Nah, it will never get to trial that quickly. You won't be on this case.  I think it would be extremely interesting to be on a jury, but I'll never be picked for one
