DREAMING OF FOOD
« on: August 17, 2006, 12:16:10 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had you dreaming of food, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're dreaming of food and thinking about eating themselves.

Was Tele Genic that guy who had a #1 hit with a dreadful rendition of "if"?  Perhaps he was a Teletubby.

Stayed home today.  Major sinus headache.  Slept most of the day.

Have been up a few hours.  Ate a nice dinner.  Watched the newest edition of "Project Runway 3" -- got a few really good laughs, which I enjoyed.

Time now to put it all back to bed and try to make a go of it tomorrow.

Headache has subsided, but remnants are still there back behind my eyes.

Sigh.

Happy birthday to anyone I've missed.

Vibes to anyone who may be needing them.

Congratuatlions to all who rate them.

Best wishes to everyone else.

Cars.  I'm not that interested.  I guess my favourite is probably the MG. TC - British Racing Green.

I know nothing about the mechanical matters involved in automobiles and I do not look after my car very well. I don't even bother cleaning it very often.

I'm just listening to a compilation of "songs about the moon" (named for the Paul Simon song). Currently playing is Mr Jimmy Webb singing "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.

Who cares? But it's a post.

Coincidence - given the tastes of the Birthday boy.

Listening is now Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow"

I'll have to think about the Topic of the Day at a later time.  I'm going to bed soon because after work tomorrow at approximately 6:00 PM, my sister and I are going to look at condominiums!  There's a place in Tumwater (just on the other side of I-5 where I live, and much closer to where I work) that has two condos for sale and I might buy one!  I'll be a home owner!  I'll be responsible for everything!  I'll have to pay taxes!!  I looked around at the outside of the place last year and it's not too bad.  The pictures on the on-line listing are very nice.  I think one is just an upstairs unit and the other is a townhouse with an upstairs bedroom loft.  The place is really the perfect location for me...literally, less than a mile from where I work.  I could walk to work all the time (which I would like to do)! ;D

But I have no idea about the money part of it.  My sister said that she'd help me with the down-payment because our parents gave her the lot to build the house that she now lives in and they no longer have anything for me. ::) She's probably going to get some kind of home equity loan just for that and then she can repay it from selling the house that I'm renting from her right now...which I don't want to buy.  So, all I have to do is find out exactly what my sister will be able give me, how much the units are and then get a loan!  Then I'll never be able to use the 1040EZ tax form again...that's the part I dread the most. ;) I've never done anything other than the 1040EZ.  I hope it's not too hard. :-\

Happy Birthday, S. Woody!!!!  Many, more!

Aww, VixMom, I think the card I mailed you will be late.  I thought your B-day was later in the week.

I was teary eyed just reading about the 911 tapes.  I had to stop or I would have burst into full blown tears at work.  I still don't understamd the mind set that could do something so horrible.

I dreamed that I went to NYC and got a job.

In another dream, I was on one of the reality shows and I was having such a good time, I didn't want it end.
