I'm up!

Snarfleglatz!

Another round of Alka-Seltzer Plus for Colds is required...this time, the "night time" version."

This cold has me in its grips...and it's an ugly thing.

Few people know that in his original draft, Shakespeare's immortal words for "Richard III" were:

"A paraclete! A paraclete! My kingdom for a paraclete!"

It was, of course, considered too erudite a reference for the time...and the noble "horse" was decided upon, instead.

I see I'm absolutely the only one on line right now.

Figures.  Ready for a chat and all the chatters are napping.

But...my eyelids are getting heavier...so...perhaps...snflsxx........

Morning all!  Rain, Rain and more rain is story here.

Rain in the morning.
Rain in the afternoon.
Rain in the evening.

It makes the grass grow so I can have something else to do like mow it.  Sigh.

Happy, Happy Birthday to DR Hisaka!

Hi Ginny!  Nice of you to join me on the bus! :)

You're on a bus, DR TPunk is either on (or about to get on) a plane, and I'll be getting in my car in about 45 minutes.

It's days like this that I am very glad I ride the bus.  At least I don't have to worry about driving.  I can sit back and relax no matter how hard it's raining.

I filled Kong with PB again last night and put them in the freezer.  I gave them to Sheena and Bear just as I was stepping out the door.  I have my fingers crossed that nothing will be torn apart when I get home this evening.

And I'm at my desk working and working and working. I'm looking forward to the Labor Day holiday. I will sleep late (for me anyway till about 8am) and eat like a small pink farm animal.

Hi, Ben!  I'm looking forward to the weekend, too.  It's 4 days for me, because the holiday Monday would my day regular day off.  Have to go to Tiffin, OH, Friday-Saturday on some AAUW business, but then it's 3 days of R&R.

I have to tell you all about the poor little dog I saw last night.  I was going into the grocery store and there was a little mutt by the door who looked like he was very hot, thirsty and tired.  Some lady said she had seen him down by one of the school which trust me was a very long way from the store.

I felt so sorry for it.  I bought a couple of cans of dog food, a bottle of water and some pie tins so I could give him something to drink and eat then I was going to coax him into my car and take him to the vet.  I would have paid the fee for the vet to take him/her and find him/her a good home.

The unhappy thing is that by the time I came out of the store, he was gone.  I drove all around the parking lot and behind the store looking for him/her but alas, he/she was no where to be found.  Poor little baby.

Oh, Danise, that's too bad about the dog at the grocery store.  At least your heart was in the right place.

ask bk ? day.

This is for anyone.

I have this site on my favorites and yesterday for the first time next to the name instead of an "e" (i guess for explorer) there was a symbol of an CD. How does this happen and how do they know to put a cd icon as opposed to something else?

And the word of the day is: PARACLETE!
Feeling completely reverent, Sister Margaretta and Sister Berthe made a sculpture of the PARACLETE using nothing but CLEAR TAPE.  It made Sister Sophia laugh.

PARACLETE: Part of the uniform worn by skydiving football players.  Usually used in plural.

Did someone already post this Playbill article about the upcoming Kritzerland release of the next Alice Ripley/Emily Skinner CD?
