OH!...

And speaking of Cabaret...  It looks like I'll be conducting/playing a show or two next week.

:)

However, that may also mean that I may not be able to make it back up to NYC this weekend - at least on Saturday - for the HHW gathering at Joe Allen.  We shall see...

Sadly, regarding the Museum of the City of New York, much of the costume exhibit is still in storage. The Theatre exhibit is OK but it's not what it used to be. They promote it as being a great time and while there are some fun things there it's not the treasure trove it used to be, IMHO. We went just a couple of months ago and the museum is outgrowing the space. They don't have room for all the exhibits and won't until the new space is built. That won't be until 2010 or later. Just thought you should know, in case you're planning to come to NY soon and trek up to 103rd Street and Fifth Avenue.

I really liked it and was disappointed that it was never recognized.

That's because the book was better.  Also, what about DOUBLE INDEMNITY being overlooked?  By whom?

I have five minites to dress and head back down to 37th Street.  Different production, different stasff, same lousy sound problems.  Totally ridiculous.  The cast and band have at least played through all the music together, but we did not get through Act Two in today's rehearsal.  Most of the time was wasted on sound, setting mikes, running cues, moving the band, so we did get throuogh all of Act One.  Luckily, the cast is good and we'l see . . .

Good morning, all!  I am thrilled that things are going so well on STARFIGHTER for our BK.  I wanted him two years ago for WHERE'S CHARLEY? but some things were not to be.  I'm sure that a lot of New Yawkers will be impressed by Mr Kimmel's way with a line, a lyric, and a melody.

DR TCB, Beth Fowler is playing the Lillian Gish role, Rachel Cooper; here's the site for cast and crew info:
http://nymf.org/index.php?module=ShowManager&func=display&sid=322

Now I don't no nothing 'bout no Lillian Gish role, but I assume it is the Dorothy Loudon role?

I am not sure that I am qualified to answer today's TOD but I will do my best:

Maybe:

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE
ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS
LAGAAN
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS
INTERNATIONAL HOUSE

hmmm...that is all I can think of.

What about The Three Stooges Meet Hercules?

you must post a photo of the CHARADE dress for us to see!

You know, it is the one that Cary wore for his wedding to Dyan Cannon.

Good Evening!

Greetings from the Fichalnder Green Room at Arena Stage!

...And my mother's grand-niece is in the audience sitting next to my parents.  -I finally got the genealogical rundown before the show.  I'll check in on them at intermission and after the show.

I watched, and LOVED, NBC's "Heroes" last night.

Extremely interesting, well-written and acted, beautifully produced/paced....an intriguing debut for a show that has had little press, to my knowledge.

Little press?  Are you being sarcastic?

Re: Dancing With the STars.

spoilers.

I did not know that we could vote by phone in canada.  That was a nice surprise. I've only done it online.

I am trying to do it now online but i cannot for the life of me remember my abc.com password!

I"m curious who everyone's favorites were. My fav was mario and then monique.  I'm big into choreography and thought that louie did great choreography for monique.

Does Sherlock say: It's alimentary, dear Jane."

der Brucer

(With apologies to Fred)

He is still a baby.  When he does learn to speak he will call me Mommie. ;)

With all the Sherlock jokes I'm thinking of changing it back to Mycroft ;D, the name we originally picked before Keith got Muzbe into his head.

I know the good spots, DR Cillaliz. I'd drive you nuts, though -- I stop and look at (and photograph) everything!

I would also take my camera, and then pace when I got restless. :)

Watched another GREY'S ANATOMY episode. This was the one with Alex getting his test results, and the nurses going out on strike. Always enjoyable.
