DR derBRUCER - you will NOT be disappointed.  Tommy Rettig and Hans Conreid are both terrific in DR T!

THE 5,000 FINGERS OF DR. T is indeed a perfect movie!  Brilliant choice!

JRand-thank you.

Matt H & Jennifer, thanks.  We were lucky the breeder & her husband take tons of photos, most which are very nice.  I just miss the video camera.  We have a great tape of echo, and her siblings, from before their eyes were open.

C.P. it is hard to imagine, by the time we travel to Kentucky with him he won’t be so little & cute.

TPunk-Thanks for the Heroes tip.

Matt H-I think Keith would have turned it off if he weren’t so exhausted.  It kept me awake which wasn’t an easy task.

Cute doggy! The blue brown eye combo adds something special.

Each profile view is different and fun.  I tell him he is “double the fun, two dogs in one”.

I’m in that cutesy name calling stage. ;D  Most the time I call him “too damn cute”.

Hmmm....

DREDISAURUS - I forgot to mention the most SORDID movie of all, please seek out AVENTURERRA starring Ms Ninon Sevilla...Busby Berkeley in a Mexican whorehouse with revenge, murder, and banana hats!

I am not sure if I would like HEROES (new tv show). It didn't sound like it would interest me. But it is repeated tonight, so i may tape it.

Tonight I will watch DANCING WITH THE STARS  and the season premiere of GILMORE GIRLS (which i am really looking forward to seeing).

Exactly!!  It should be on the MUST SEE list of all movie lovers.  To see the heroine of the movie dragged by her hair up the steps of the brothel - and know that is one of the tamer scenes...WELL...   ;D

That was my question after I saw the movie....although Lois Smith and Timothy Carey were pretty good.  Mostly it's a Kazan mess.  :P

Beau Geste

Interesting, THere is a costume shop in Detroit Lakes that had costumes from some older Hollywood films. A friend of mine has a jacket that was used in Beau GEste.

Glad to know it got used again!  ;D

Sometimes when I watch an old movie, I get sad thinking of those beautiful handmade costumes turning to rags and dust in some old storage facility....  :'(

JRand, on History Detectives in August, they did a spot on the car that the owner suspected in the movie To CAtch a Thief. It was not the exact car but It was made at the same time. There were only about 200 cars made and only two or three still exist.

I have often wondered what has happened to clothing from the movies and televisions shows. Dynasty had some wonderful dresses as did the soaps for certain storylines.

Actually, they get put to a lot of use. Western Costume in LA has floors full of stuff that theatre's from all over rent. When I was playing Mordred I had a black cape with a "Vincent Price" tag sewn into the lining. (Having Price's cape helped me throw much sacastric virtriol at Arthur.)

Book has been ordered.  Based on preorders here I've ordered a bit less than normal, so when they're gone everyone who doesn't order now can get them through amazon or wherever, but not signed.
