Saturday morning greetings!  Today would ordinarily be a work Saturday for me, but I took a vacation day in order to watch the epic Michigan-Ohio State game later this afternoon - GO BLUE!!!

TOD - Have I seen a Paul Newman movie I didn't like?

I'm up, I'm up.  Our box-office lady had an emergency and no one knows when she'll be returning, and that part of the department is in turmoil.  They're hustling to find an interim replacement now.

Haircut day!  Haircut day!

Ms. Erin Arbogast is expecting me at 9 a.m.

She's no Mr. Teddy, but she's good to me anyway!

Which team is "Blue"?

Did you like "Adventures of a Young Man" (Newman played the boxer....HE was the best thing in it, next to Franz Waxman's magnificent score).

Or...that "Paris Blues" thing?  Or "A New Kind of Love"?  Or "WUSA"?

Well well well (that's three well's)  Look who's posting now?

Just wanted to tell everyone how excited Merrill is to join the cast of Bruce's show.  Here are some (what I think are) gorgeous shots we took when we celebrated her birthday last week. Cake wasn't involved - but a hot fudge sundae was, along with a ride on the Toys R Us ferris wheel and a visit to HAIRSPRAY

Enjoy!

I’m not sure which my first Paul Newman film was.  I’m sure I had seen him on TV first.  My guess is the film was SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME.

While not his best films, the ones I enjoyed the most are the comedies he did with Joanne Woodward-I’m a bit fan of hers.

I’m procrastinating.  My energy levels are far too low but the sun is shining and I should take Sherlock for a walk.  After which, maybe I can take my own, much needed, walk.

You could call him "He of the Evil Eye".

He reminds me of the gypsy in our "Ociee Nash" movie---one brown eye and one "scary eye"!

Here's a picture we took in Ireland that reminded us of our gypsy:
