Of course, in last week's episode, it was explained why Zach wasn't used in court, and the aftermath of that realization once he had earned his doctorate. Nice little reminder tonight that his appearance to the outside world was recognized as a detriment by the team.

Joe Barbera, half of Yogi Bear creator team, dies at 95

Tomovoz and Elmore, I actually SAW the original WINDY CITY show in London back in '82.  I was not overwhelmed.  Hence I did not buy the album and remember little about the show, except that Dennis Waterman of MINDER and Anton Rodgers were in it.  I still have the program somewhere.

Happy B'day Penny-O.  I'm like several cuts from CAN HIEROYMOUS MERKIN FORGET MERCY HUMPPE AND FIND TRUE HAPPINESS.  And I, of course, love the O'Toole CHIPS in spite of its score...with the exception of LONDON IS LOVE & WALK THROUGH THE WORLD WITH ME.

Elmore, I quite like WHAT A NIGHT THIS IS GOING TO BE from BAKER STREET.

I took a little nap after coming back from the studio, but now I am up for a minute before I go back to sleep for the night!

Back from a very long day - we really wrapped the session in a very timely way at five, but we had major synth problems (our regular player wasn't available for the session, so a new guy, very nice, did it, but wasn't as familiar with the music as he should have been, and he wasn't able to make all the fast patching switches - which meant we had to stay five extra hours and overdub eighty percent of what he'd recorded).  We went wildly overbudget and that is very, very bad.  But, we got it done, and I think it's going to mix very well - much of elmore's wonderful orchestrations were sort of buried in the theater mix, so I heard things that I've never heard.  Alet, Merrill, Kevin, and Lauren all did excellent work today.
