ONE GRECIAN URN
« on: January 07, 2007, 01:04:22 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes contained One Grecian Urn, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently doing Two Grecian Urns.

And Meredith Willson wrote the music, lyrics AND book (for the stage show, at least)...and it was all so great!

You watch your phraseology!

This is my favorite.  I use it all the time. ;) During Cannibal:  The Musical, I would use it and the kids (some as old as 26) didn't know where it came from...shameful!

The two young lovers' infatuation with one another was more chimerical than chemical.

Blame it on Rodzinski!

After his wistful post Saturday afternoon about leaving his Christmas tree lights on, rather than taking it down, I was inspired to undecorate my tree.

I spent the evening removing the ornaments, packing them away and then gathering up all the items in the place that are Christmas-related and putting them in boxes, etc.  Time to finally take this stuff to storage, rather than pretending it will fit in closets and under beds, etc.

I confess I'll miss the tree.  It shone brightly and beautifully.  And it will again...next Christmas.

Good Morning!

Well... I guess having that coffee earlier may not have been a good thing.   However, I tend to be a night owl, and still being awake at 5:00am is not that unusual for me, so...

However, I did manage to put away some more stuff in the kitchen, and I even sorted and purged through our assortment of accumulated plastic food take-out containers.  :)

Ah, The Music Man.  Truly one of my favorites too.  When it's done well, it can be truly wonderful.  However, when it's done not so well... Well... Ah, well..

What I want to know is, what is JoseSPiano doing up at 5:01 a.m., est?

Has JoseSPiano gotten up out of bed?

Or...has JoseSPiano just rolled in from a night on the town?

Scroll back a few posts.  I actually got in around 9:00pm.  However, my roommates and I decided to watch a couple classic episodes of "Sex & The City", so...  Then I started cleaning, and then...
