And how come DR Miss Karen does not have an avatar?

-I'm sure DR Cason might have a pic or two she could use.  ;)

Miss Karen is too beautiful for an avatar!

In other, sadder news... I just received word informing me that one of the young actresses who was in the production of Cabaret I worked on last fall passed away last week, apparently from meningitis.  She was in her mid-20s.  I had just seen her a few weeks ago heading to an audition...  Too soon.  Much too soon.

DR Jose!  That's really awful.  I'm so sorry.

Here's a pic of the type of knife safe I use:

They come in 4", 6", 8" and 10" sizes.  They make it easy to store knives safely in a drawer, and they also make it easier to travel with your knives too.  I blame Alton Brown for turning me on to them.  -Williams-Sonoma usually has them.

Didn't I see that in John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN?

DR Elmo!  Got cha!  The stars aligned again today.  Where have you been all day? We missed ya and need ya to help us break this record thing -- and to join the Case pun craze.  So keep on posting!  Hugs!

I have been to Toyland all the livelong day!

DR Cillaliz - my favorite knives are from Cutco.  You used to have to purchase them from a college student who came to your home to demo them, but now you can order online.  Our favorites are:

The Trimmer

The 2.75" and 4" Paring Knives

The Spatula/Spreader

The Petite Chef

The Slice 'n' Serve

The Super Shears

RE: "Angie" - Was it really on just for two seasons?  It seemed like it was on for longer than that.  Or maybe I just liked Robert Hays that much. ;)

Five minutes to "Grease: You're The One That I Want"...

It really is too bad that they can't do the live rounds from New York City, from Broadway, due to the time difference.  Although, it would be interesting to see how the show would do in a later time slot on the West Coast.

Thanks Ginny, looks like you have to already be a Cutco owner to shop online. But they do have catalogs.

I bought a couple Emeril knives when my neighborhood kitchen store closed to relocate to the mall.  I really like them.

Two minutes in, and it's already terrifying!

Can't wait to see what the amazingly insincere Ms Marshall pulls off tonight!

DR Jose!  That's really awful.  I'm so sorry.

Thank you, DR elmore.  News of a death is usually unexpected and never "welcome"... And with the celebration of my father's 65th birthday today... And spending some time with my nieces and nephew...  Just a truly weird twist for the day to take.

And knowing that Julie was at the start of a wonderful career.  She had starred in the tour of the Trevor Nunn Oklahoma as well as the tour of Little Women... Again, just much too soon.

Ugh... They're labeling all the Danny's and Sandy's by adjectives.... "Wholesome Danny", "Hot Danny", etc., etc... - Well, I guess since "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?" did it...  :-\
