Is that a euphemism?

LOL, No. I have to give Callie meds twice a day. It was time to medicate the cat.

I just had the most fun - edisaurus sent me a clip of the musical number The Plan.  It looks so good!

I cannot get over how good the video looks, and it isn't even up-rezzed yet.  The sound isn't bad either.

Did I just hear an ad on TV which said "Drinking out of the can is sometimes tricky."

Was it a Sterno ad?

Is this an ad aimed at canines?

Good Evening!

Greetings from Richmond!

It took me a little longer to get my stuff together this morning, but I was on the road down to Richmond a little before Noon.  And since there was absolutely no traffic I made it down to my first stop, Steve's sister's consignment store, in a little over two hours.  Not bad at all, and I wasn't even speeding.  I dropped off the three bins of plush animals and other knick-knacks, then proceeded to head back into Richmond proper.  Well, I started to head back into Richmond...

I would like to hear Guy Haines sing this song.

Well, the original, that is!  :)

You'll have to settle for his "When You're Alone" from Hook.

Well... Long story, short... I got pulled over for having an expired State Inspection sticker on my car.  Between working in DC and having the car with me in NYC, I just haven't had the time to get the car inspected.  So... And, yes, I will admit that I was thinking I would not have to deal with the inspection before I give the car to the charity service, but... Ah, well...

The weird thing is that the cop wrote me the ticket/summons, then let me go on my merry way.  I can either pay the fine - I'll have to call the court to find out what it is - or show up in court with the inspection paperwork. I believe I'll be paying the fine.  The court date is not until the middle of March, so...  And I'm guessing that if I get pulled over again, I can just show the ticket to them.  ???

Any advice, DR Cillaliz?  ;)

And that was that.

And once I was on my merrry way, I headed over to my storage unit to check things out.  Yes, there's a lot of stuff there, but I think I'll be able to get everything there and at my parents' house in the truck tomorrow - I'm just not sure it will all fit in my room.  We shall see.

Then I made a stop at the store to pick up some dinner... Then I dropped off a spare CD tower at a friend's place... Then made my way back here to Steve's place.  And now I'm reading and posting.  With CBS on in the background.

DR Jose, did getting pulled over fulfill any fantasies?

As Cole Porter wrote about the British police:
Brave bobby, behave, bobby
And change your point of view
People say that I'm a daughter of crime
And I want to be raided by you!

Speaking of TPunk's gay teen film list, is A BEAUTIFUL THING on it? I'm flipping channels and it's on Logo right now.  What a wonderful film!

As for fish...

I like it all.  However, I simply do not have the patience - or the "skill" - to eat crab out of the shell.  It just seems like so much work for so little food. *I'm also not too keen what cracking and twisting and breaking apart crab shells does to my fingers.

My favorite fish-fish are Salmon (the wild Alaskan and Copper River varieties preferred), Grouper and Halibut.

Favorite shell-fish: Oysters (raw and fried), clams (fried, strips), scallops.

And I like sushi too.

Brave bobby, behave, bobby
And thrill me through and through
I could call, of course,
On the rest of the force
But I want to be raided by you.

DR Jose, what have you wrought?

See how much the fine is vs. getting it inspected. In some states it's more expensive to pay the fine than to just go do it. Showing the ticket may work for a couple days, but it won't work for long, they'll say that you had time to fix it and give you another. Well, depending on how sweet your smile is that day. Technically every time you drive and don't have the right sticker could be considered to be a new offense.

Actually, I'm digging the line up for Williamstown this year.  I'm just wondering where that new, third space is.  I'm wondering if they finally put air-conditioning in the old church.  -Guess I should give Roger and Amanda a call.

Totally get the disclaimer.  The tricky part about all of this - and I mentioned this to the cop - is that I won't be driving the car for the next two weeks since I'll be heading up to NYC tomorrow (in a moving truck).  And I was planning on dropping the car off to the charity service once I headed back down to tie up any loose ends.  So, for now, I'm just going to deal with it once I get back down here.

DR TPunk - Although the book is better, the TV adaptation of "The Lost Language of Cranes" might work for your group.
