Everything is Political; or Why the Boston Hoax Story is about the Triumph of Capitalism…On a serious note, this episode reflects the triumph of capitalism. These two yahoos look exactly like the sort of neo-hippie/anarchists that trashed Seattle back in 1999 and still engage in various forms of counter-culture street theater to this day. Yet, these guys do so not to advance a cause, but to make money advertising a stupid cartoon show on behalf of a major media corporation. The message these two thus are sending to all their counter-culture buddies on behalf of capitalist corporations is: "resistance is futile." As such, in an odd way, these guys validate my life's work: They confirm that corporations rule the world and are therefore a worthy subject of study.

How different animals do the deed has probably fascinated you ever since you learned about, well, the birds and the bees. Endless curiosity about animal kingdom kinkiness has made the San Francisco Zoo's annual Woo at the Zoo (formerly known as the Sex Tour) into an immensely popular and much copied Valentine's Day tradition each February.Jane Tollini, the zoo's penguin keeper, first developed the idea when she noticed that the penguins seemed to get especially amorous around February. So, she decorated their pool with paper hearts, threw on some mood music and invited a select group of friends and colleagues to watch the show. That concept has since been expanded into a three-hour event that includes a private tour aboard the zoo tram, an indoor presentation with up-close animal encounters, and catered refreshments with champagne, chocolates, strawberries, sushi and a "risotto bar."
I could use some office space vibes. I have found the office I want and am waiting to see if the owner of the building will hold it for me with a deposit. The agent who showed me the office seemed to think he would do it. It's in my favorite building in town....a building I have been talking about lately...

That Evil Dead e-mail is pathetic. It's the new trend, however - shows announce a closing, do that sort of thing, then pull out a few more losing weeks saying "it's a miracle" and "the public wants us to stay." In the end, they lose more money.
They may look like S&V extras but they sound like idiots, if you heard their "press conference."Still...bombings...Massacheusetts...2 men picked up...wonder if we're missing a cross-promotion opportunity?
