Back from the workshop of, well, I don't know what. It was, perhaps, in all my years of attending musical workshops the single worst piece of crap I've ever seen. I sat there with mouth agape, as did most of the audience of about fifty people, most of whom were close personal friends of the writer/producers and the director, which means the median age of the audience was seventy-five.
I'll have plenty to say in the notes because I must vent, oh, yes, I must vent. Jessica was excellent, as always. For the producer/writers and the director I say what I usually have to say after seeing this kind of thing: Do you have a POINT? If so, wouldn't it be nice to let the audience in on it?
