DR JMK, the Reverse Speech site is spooky.  Who knew that Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe where singing out their subliminal thoughts all these years.

TOD

I was a championship Motorcycle Buddy rider. At motorcycling rallies they have events that involve a driver and a rider on the back who must perform all sorts of tricks and tasks (moving balls from pylon to pylon, retrieving blocks and building towers, ringing pegs with hoops, etc.) while maneuvering at high speed through an obstacle course A good buddy rider needs good balance, a fine sense of relative motion, and a basic feel for the whole "dynamic" of a moving bike with a six-foot tall passenger stretched out as far as he can reach. Maybe it sounds silly, but I enjoy having the engraved silver trays and bowls offered as trophies! I was top-buddy rider in Southern California for three years in a row.

Credits said Panavision some parts in CinemaScope.  What was that all about?

Yes, Virginia, there are gay Motorcycle clubs!

My DH and I went to brunch yesterday and noticed that the restaurant was a member of the "Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce". Who knew?

DH does a lot of work for the Atlanta CoC, so now he's wondering how to expand his reportoire to include the G&LCoC!

Der B, you continue to surprise and amaze me.

Have you ever seen the film "Sidehackers"? (I bet MBarnum has a copy!)

DR JMK - Welcome back.  And Congrats to you and Gabe on your various endeavors.

As for Vista - I'm now a Mac-y, so...

As for Finale/Encore/Vista - Take advantage of Make Music's phone support.  If you have a cell phone, there are no "real" toll charges to ring up, and as long as your copy of Finale is registered, the phone support is free.

I was about to ask if anyone had been using VISTA yet....seems like I don't have to now.

A.K.A. Backwards masking?

Gabe is now an honorary citizen of Kritzerland, since he understands the language.

I have used Vista----Vision...

1) So, is that where you're going to take me to eat when I'm in Atlanta?  ;)

2) So, is your husband trying to tell you something? ;D  *I believe to become a member of the G&LCoC you have to be a "G" or "L" who owns a business.  Although, maybe if you're "G&L Friendly"... It's worth a call.

Of course, the Cantinflas style of wearing his baggy trousers very low has become very popular with the young boys of today.

I have it on my new computer, the one for the office.  Since I'm starting from scratch, I'm not going to have too many problems. I am buying new software for work and it is either compatible or there will soon be patches.   For older software, most companies are not going to make patches to make it compatible with Vista. So my plan is to not upgrade from  XP in my other computers.

As for the Topic of the Day...

The only thing that comes to mind is skateboarding when I was eight, nine-years old.  We were living in Seattle at the time, and we had a "hill of a driveway".  I could never stand up on a skateboard - well, I tried, but was always too scared that I'd fall - but I did like sitting on the skateboard, and then getting pushed down the hill/driveway.  WHEEEEEEEEEE!

I did buy a pair of rollerblades - actually LandRollers - at the end of last year, and I did give them a couple of test runs on carpet.  Once spring comes, I'm looking forward to giving them a try in Central Park - or more likely Riverside Park since there are some flatter stretches there.

I did see Andre Previn in a pink/red shirt playing piano while Bobby Darin sang and Shirley Jones and Michael Callan and Matt Mattox did a dance.

Oddly and inexplicably, we've got mail in our mailbox today.  I'm sure I checked it on Sat night.  I'm suspicious that they just didn't put all the mail in on Saturday, and are working overtime to get the backlog in today.

Well, the New York City Department of Sanitation certainly logged some overtime last night.  Around 3:30am, I woke up since I heard a lot of noise out on the sidewalk.  When I looked out, I saw that the trash and recycling trucks were finally picking everything up - that was supposed to be picked up Saturday morning.  And since I had seen the trucks out earlier in the day chipping away the ice from the drains...  Overtime and a holiday!

This was the same time frame in which I won the title of "Empress de Motorcycling de Los Angeles" and had my own float in the Hollywood Gay Pride parade.
