I've never been to Grand Central Market...good to know! Do you buy whole beans or ground? (I figure someone who makes their own tobiko is a whole bean kind of guy!)
Normally, I buy whole beans and grind them here, but for some unknown reason, I asked for them to be ground there.

I told the guy that I had a standard paper-filter drip coffee maker, but it looks like he gave me an espresso-grind - it looks a bit too fine to me. But I only bought a 1/2 pound, so no biggie.
Grand Central Market is actually a bunch of little markets, food stands set up in one long "hallway". Meat and fish vendors, bakeries, cheese (Murry's set up shop there), chocolates (Li-Lac), and Penzey's Spices(!!!!) even set up a retail stall there. It's a great place just to go into and marvel at. Yes, it's always quite busy, but I think that's part of it's charm. *And the one "chandelier" composed of crystals hanging off an upside down tree-top is quite a sight to behold.
