Yep, it's quite the mixed bag of an album.  You can tell that he did what he wanted to do.  -When a stronger producer probably would have helped the flow of the album - and some of the song choices.

*I'm guessing the album cover was taken before he had his teeth fixed - since he's not smiling.

;D

I honestly wonder if i would have recognized him if someone just showed me that picture.  I do like the look though.   But it is SO different!

Not much on tv tonight for me.  I think only IDOL and Boston Legal.

I am wondering for anyone who watched last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS.  Who is your favorite?  I know i usually have different taste. So i was just curious.

There actually wasn't anyone this year who i really disliked.  I know many people probably thought billy ray was bad. But i really love watching Karina dance. And hopefully she can do something with him.

All packages have been shipped

Ah, sir - happy news indeed!

(A Sweeney reference)

I guess I should just dump my two old Bayview copies.

I wonder if the girls would have defied the law & ended up in prison if he weren't filming them.  Do you know if they were there long or harmed?

That's the firsat time I've heard Sacco and Vanzetti referred to as "The Girls". Maybe there are still things about them I've yet to discover!

(They were there long and they were harmed. Oh yes, they were harmed.)

How do you accompany that, DR JoseSPiano?  A discreet and dainty minuet?

I continued listening to Glenn Erickson's commentary to NIGHT AND THE CITY while I prepared and ate lunch. Enjoyed the information he had to offer very much.

Next, I watched the dazzling Blu-ray version of THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY. This is the movie Terry Gilliam never directed (but probably wanted to). Lots of fun, weird, absurd, outlandish. Alan Rickman as the voice of the robot was absolutely hilarious.

But picture and sound were just stupendous. Quickly jumps to the heights of the best Blu-rays I've seen.

I finished the afternoon with "Lucy Goes to Sun Valley" from the Lucy-Desi set. Again, not hilarious, but Fernando Lamas was still gorgeous at this stage of his life, and it was fun listening to him and Ricky speaking Spanish to each other.

That's exactly what we are trying to avoid with changing the sound of some "those" songs

The audiences will appreciate it more than they know.   ;D

Well my review of Yamin is up on Amazon for what it's worth.  I have a feeling...since it is the first that is not FIVE STARS, I may be in for some flaming....although it has been rated HELPFUL by a lot of readers.
