DR Ginny, I am intrigued by DH Richard's interest in shape-note singing.  I have some recordings.  How did he come to be involved in that arena?

DR JANE - it seems that Good Life Dog Food is a grocery store brand sold in many areas of the country.

Many people online don't think too much of it.  But I like the commercial.

TOD:

I don't know if it pushed the envelope, except perhaps in the area of bad taste, but my mouth was certainly agape during the viewing of the movie Showgirls - in the "what were they thinking?" way...

I sort of found the commercial online.

It's the 4th commercial this puppy watches.  Sherlock comes on when he sings about "fun" with a baby sitting next to him!   ;D

Tuesday morning greetings!

Morning meeting vibes for DR GINNY.

Thanks DR JRand - the meeting is actually at 1pm, but the person conducting it has already "primed" me not to hold back my honest opinions.

I jsut can't seem to adjust to this time change in the mornings,  I love it in the afternoon, but all I want to do in the morning is sleep another hour.   Maybe it will be better after the equinox

Good morning!

Beautiful morning and should continue to be a beautiful day with highs in the mid to high 60s. Perfect for this time of year.

Good Morning, once again!

From the "Only in New York" file...

So, here today at Chelsea Studios, former "Grease:YTOTIW" contestant, Nick, is working at the desk.  And just down the hall, the required six-month replacement call for the the upcoming production of Grease is being held down the hall.  -And to make it even "weirder", the six-month call is being held even before the show has started rehearsals!

I don't remember Nick, DR Jose. He must have been cut before the final group of 10 (+2).

And, DR Jose. I'm assuming that all of the other roles are cast in GREASE by now. Or is that still in progress, too? I thought maybe Kathleen might use the ousted Derek as Keneckie since she seemed genuinely upset he was going (even though the judges had to have been tipped off before the broadcast began.)

Yes, he was.  But he's also the Nick who I got my current apartment from... And I believe I've posted pics of him before too.  Or to refresh your memory: www.nicholasdalton.org.

Before my workout this morning, I spent part of the morning sorting tax information and going through my last year's receipts and canceled checks. I'm going to sit down tomorrow morning and do the taxes to get them out of the way. Probably won't e-file until closer to the deadline, but it will be a relief to be done with it.

From what I understand - and guess - they can't finalize the casting of the rest of the cast until the Danny and Sandy are set.  -Since they have to check out how the Danny and Sandy look and act with their "classmates".  Lots of people "on hold".

Well, that makes sense. Thanks for the info.

BTW, could the two actors who don't get picked this Sunday be in line as the standbys? That would be a nice gesture though I know it doesn't work that way.
