THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION
« on: January 03, 2004, 12:01:28 AM »

Now, you haven't skipped the notes, have you?  If you skipped the notes we shall have to simply bitch-slap you from here to eternity and to hell and back, because we slaved over a hot computer to write said notes and they simply must be read.  Now that you've read them you know what to do, so do post away.

I'm not really a speed reader. Maybe I just type faster.
DR Jose: "Always logged on" does not quite mean that. It just means that when you get to HHW you don't have to log on.

One of the great pop combinations: songs by Randy Newman sung by Harry Nilsson.

Quote from TCB
Quote
Purple tights notwithstanding, I think Brother Jed might be miffed at being branded a fairy -- lilac or otherwise.

Perhaps if I donned the wings I wore as Teen Angel in Grease in February along with my recent purple tights, I'd be a more convincing fairy.  If it doesn't have to be lilac... and can be 6 feet tall... and 240 lbs... and have a beard... :)

Yes, yes, please help! "My" Seany hasn't been around (and he has a girlfriend anyway), so I'm getting a little rusty! Wah, I miss him!

I must tell you that I finally figured out how to see what is being "searched" for at the site (when we changed the software for the notes, I was never really told how) - I'm happy to report that the merry searchers are still with us, searching merrily away, although why at this late date they feel the need to do so is anyone's guess.  They must really have nothing better to do with their time, I suppose.  Either that, or they are simply beyond repair as "human" beings.  But, we welcome them with open arms and we hope they find what it is they're looking for.

Everyone should listen to John Mayer's song "Wheel." The last line (my signature) really affects me.

You know, the entire time I was reading the notes, I never once had my mind in the gutter. I didn't even GET why it would be gross until I reread it. Strange.

On a side note, I think Laura has been drinking.

Sarah - Laura's not drunk, merely bringing back her flirting skills!

Laura - True, your current pic isn't all that sharp, but it's a very nice one from what we can see. :)

I am sure my niece will be happy with a tall fairy who can lift the spell possible given by her wicked fairy uncle. borrowed wings from A Teen Angel (even Frankie Avalon's) would be quite OK. Actually the one year old Juliette is indeed beautiful and I (don't like babies) and the only spell is the one she puts her family under. I thought her mother was delightful at that age too. I shall post a proud great uncle's photograph of mother and child. (or I will if I can!).

Wonderful photo, Tom!  Juliette is indeed an adorable child, and Karalyn is rather lovely, as well.

I called Laura "Miss Religious" after she was talking about how orgasmic her food was.

Hard for me to disagree. Karalyn is researching for her PHd at present - nearly there. She works in the field of AIDS research as is internationally known in her field - HIV positive woman and pregnancy etc. I am indeed a very proud of her.

Geez, my sleep schedule is completely messed up.  Here it is, 1:30am, I slept only 2 hours last night (well, late this morning), and yet I'm wide awake.  I should probably just force myself to go to bed now, nonetheless (three words in one... that's just cheating at Scrabble, that is).  So, goodnight... see all y'all later on!

Lovely picture TOMOVOZ!  Of course the photographer had some great material there!

CD - Perry Como the 16 most Requested Hits

VCR - AUNTIE MAME:  "Mr Applewhite what are you doing in that hole with Mr. Bibberman?  I'm sorry there is NO San Francisco!"

DVD - LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING.  I start crying when the music starts and don't stop for about 90 minutes.  "You look in the mirror to see truth.  I do not, for in the mirror what is left is right and what is right is left."  "Do not awaken a sleeping tiger."  "Especially not in a small boat!"

Can't sleep. Woke up around 2 am and have been awake ever since. So I finally gave in and got up.
Thank you for enlightening me about karma, DR's - and thanks for giving me karma, Swishy.
Lovely pic, DR Tomovoz.
DR Jrand 53 - Must tell you that when I was a teenager, my best friend Carol and I went to some mall in Toronto where Gordon Scott was making a Personal Appearance. We did it as a silly lark, having nothing better to do that paticular Saturday afternoon. We got there late, however, and he was already leaving. We spotted him in the parking lot in a black convertible. He was wearing a body-hugging black polo shirt, muscles rippling, and tight black pants. A symphony in black. As the convertible pulled away, something took over my body and I found myself running after the car through the parking lot, shouting out his name. Now you have to understand that I wasn't that kind of kid. No way! Part of me was watching this display, stunned and mortified that an artiste (that's what I considered myself) would do something so childish and crass. The weird(er) part of this story is that I can't remember whether he stopped or not. All I recall is this moment of utter freedom as I ran after Tarzan.

Well DR's....inspired by DRJASON, I have scanned some photos from a NYC trip in 1993!  If you would like a trip down Memory Lane, let me know....and I will load them up.   ;)

Here is the lovely Times Square as it was on a May Day in 1993!  ;D

Tomovoz-- beautiful photo-- no wonder you are proud.

I'll let you know what ends up in the various machines later.

td-- I'm so glad you discovered Cam Clarke.  I knew you'd like him (and his CD).  Maybe I'll dig out my CD and play it today.

I tried adding a picture to my profile, but apparently it's too big.  One gets used to hearing such things (now, TCB, cut that out--- a Jack Benny reference).  I'll have to find another photo or get DRMusicGuy to make the picture smaller.  I probably have the right equipment but don't know how to use it. (Another thing one gets used to hearing).

The minds started out in the gutter with Bruce's notes, and apparently they're staying there.  Fasten your seatbelts! It's going to be a bumpy day (to paraphrase Bette Davis as Margo Channing)!!!!!!!

In the CD player is Superman - perfect accompaniment for domestic chores. It's been awhile since I heard it, and the score is as winning as ever: snappy music and clever (but not in-your-face clever) lyrics.

DR Tomovoz: what an exquiste photo. Mazeltov (which is practically an anagram of Tomofoz). And DR JRand53, keep the Auntie Mame lines and the Broadway photos coming.
