Wow! I sure do get that one! And I am almost blushing! Almost! ;)

Back from a little breakfast thing, and am now happily relaxing.  I do have some things to do but am so relaxed I can't even remember what they are.

My very sweet kids used their tax refunds to buy a dishwasher for me, which was to be installed while I was on a butterfly walk at the arboretum. I arrived home just as they were delivering it. Unfortunately, the installers wouldn't install it because whoever did the electrical work initially way back when a dishwasher was first installed did shoddy work. They said the way it was wired it is amazing we didn't have a fire.

Having had shoddy work in the past, we are now awaiting an electrician to do the electrical work correctly.

Bagel and lox!  Yum yum.  Call me an honorable Jew.  I just came from a lovely afternoon coffee break with former DR Noel who sends his regards.  It was a lovely meeting and I had a great time catching up.

I also had a good morning at Toyland.  The new scores are looking wonderful (we're working on layout and formatting issues) and I got some work done as well on LIFE BEGINS AT 8:40.  It's been a rather good day.  So far.

DR MattH - which Henry VIII book are you reading?  I'm reading Alison Weir's The Six Wives of Henry VIII, in preparation for reading her Life of Elizabeth I, in preparation for watching the HBO series with my book group in July and August.

I'm reading Weir's HENRY VIII AND HIS COURT. I'm really enjoying it, too.

I mforgot all about AFTER THE THIN MAN, but that's a favorite movie with Jimmy Stewart as well. So is THE SHOP AROUND THE CORNER which I stupidly forgot to mention.

I did finish LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and still think the film is due for a face lifting.

Was the original theatrical version this frainy? Maybe it was done that way for the gritty Skid Row atmosphere of the piece, but it sure looks rough on my HDTV.

While I was waiting to see if THE CLOSER would be delivered in today's mail, I took out Season 2 of GREY'S ANATOMY and began watching from episode 2. Watched all of episodes 2 and 3 and started on 4. The episodes as good as I remembered them being. I'll probably finish watching 4 and 5 (which comprise the rest of disc one) before I put something else in.

Alas. As I suspected, the mailman did not bring THE CLOSER to my door today meaning it'll be Tuesday before I receive it (dang!)

I know I will be watching THE BLACK ROSE tonight. Now I'm thinking I will begin Season 4 of ANGEL, too. It's been about 6 or 8 months since I watched Season 3, so I'm ready for the next group of episodes.

Thank you for the flutterby photos DearReader Laura.  I fear my own camera will need replacement soon.  One drop too many! I can't take close up shots anymore!

Page four at four-thirty.  What is wrong with this picture?  Oh, well, from the heighest heights to the lowest lowghts in one fell swoop.  Could end up being one of our worst posting days ever, thanks to all the errant and truant.  Oh, yes, there will be a bitch-slapping to be reckoned with.

DR Elmore - we enjoyed the performances (and voices) of Meg Bussert and Richard Muenz in "Camelot".  Did they just go on to tour with Harris and then disappear?

Harris's leading lady here was Marina Pryor who did not enjoy the experience of working with him at all!

Harris was directing and had a habit of just cutting a scene short and leaving her to find her way off stage.  She was very young.

I'm hoping that tomorrow I will be picking up a whole mess of upcoming DVD releases, including the Sergio Leone 8 disc box, the new Special Editions of The Sand Pebbles, Twelve O'Clock High, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, Fantastic Voyage, and a few others.  But the big shocker suprise is a release I had no idea was coming - haven't read about it anywhere and as far as I know it hasn't been mentioned on any site that I frequent - a little thriller from the early 60s that I absolutely love - The Third Secret, with Jack Hawkins and Pamela Franklin.  I'm so excited.

I would love someone to record the WHOLE score of Camelot (as in the productions of Elmore's close and personal friend who conducts things. LOL)
