Don't have much planned for the weekend. I'm listening to Big Band Special on BBC Radio 2 right now. I have plenty of discs in my drawer so I've got things covered for the rest of the day.

Thanks to DR BEN and DR JOSESPIANO for the commentary on last evening's festivities.

Hero vibes to DR MBARNUM and continued NYC vibes for him and DR GINNY and DH RICHARD and DR MUSIC GUY as they frolic in the Big Apple.

I too watched TROG last night....well I watched the beginning of it, wherein John Hamill and friend take off their clothes and walk around in their underwear for ten minutes or so.

Then one of them is killed and Joan Crawford shows up and the movie goes to hell.

Good morning to the early studlies and lovelies here this morning......and I'm up a little earlier than usual (for me in NY at least!), so I know most of the west coasters are probably sound asleep.

But I've been hale and hearty and rested, and I'm already rinsed, and have even shaved my scraggly punim, so now I have a shiny and smooth punim!

I gather I'll be seeing MusicGuy, Jose and MBarnum for lunch today at 1 somewhere in the theater area.  Looking forward to hearing where.

And a lovely good morning Fred........... I really hope that our casual lunch can work out for today, and I think it will work OK for Jose after his rehearsal to come back up to the theatre district.  Of course......if our lunch restaurant was within sight of Little House Of Pies  :)   well, that wouldn't be all bad.

I think dear Jose thinks I've gone "pie-mad" since he first took me there!

Is the Little House of Pies the Little Pie Shop on 43rd between 9th & 10th?  That would be very convenient for me.  :)

And our gathering last night was splendid fun indeed!!  I got to see friends I already knew, and also meet DRs who were new to me in person.

And I have to say gigantic thanks again to dear Jose, for guiding my menu choices along........ I had told him that I'm not much into fire-hot and spicy Indian stuff, and so he watched over me and my choices.  Big hugs to Jose!

I got through the night (if you can call it that - I finally fell asleep around one-thirty) without too much fuss, just being careful not to move my foot too much.  Hard to know what the toes look like until I take off the bandages.

YES, YES,.... that is the very one that dear Jose took me to.  We also looked up and waved at your building.

Wasn't there a little casual "french bistro" type place just on the corner near there?  Something like "Le Madeleine" or something??

I think Jose's appointment  until noon is on 36th & 8th, so only blocks away from the theater district.  I know Jose doesn't mind walking a few blocks, unlike the lazy, ornery me.  :)  Buyt of course, the closer to the Little Pie Shop, the better for slothful me.

Healing vibes to BK.  I've had soemthing like that with two toes, and it was quite debilitating in terms of getting shoes on.  Hope yours has gotten much better.

Good morning oh dear Grande Mensch, oh giver of hickeys, oh possesor of the throbbing toe-parts!  :-[  :'(

I send you quick healing vibes for your poor distressed ped-digits.  You have been toasted and lauded many times so far on this trip.
