Dear BK....... just a short and very heartfelt "thank you" for creating the "Living Room" here, and allowing the opportunity for so many of us folks from very different backgrounds and geographic areas, to become friends and have a wonderful get-together like we had last evening.

Have a wonderful and safe trip DR Naomi, and enjoy Chicago.....one of my favorite cities.  It was great to meet you in person and get to visit last evening.

And I think I must go downstairs now, and have some coffee and a little something to tide me over till lunch.

DR FJL - Why don't we all just meet at the Little Pie Shop at 1:00.  Sounds good and convenient.

DRs MusicGuy and MBarnum - Let's meet DR FJL at the Little Pie Shop at 1:00 - on 43rd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues, south side of the street.  Just follow the smell of the baking pies.

Or if you want to meet me down at Ripley-Grier - 520 8th Avenue - between 35th and 36th.  -If DR MBarnum heads down to Orhlinger's a little early, the timing should work out.  I'll call both of you.  But in any case...

Little Pie Shop at 1:00.  Be there or be round.

I did not see TROG when it first opened.  I saw it when it first made its way to television.  It seemed to make its way to television very quickly after it opened.  I concur with Mr. Kimmel.  It's one of the worst movies ever made.  I bet that's an hour and half of your life you'd like back, BK.

Some stars never learn how to retire gracefully like Cary Grant.  I mean she had all that Pepsi Cola money.  It's not like she HAD to do TROG.

Weekend coming up and no media planned, but I have been listening to The Brain From Planet X in my car all this past week. I really enjoy listening to it and not because BK wrote. It tuneful, fun lyrics and great voices.

Maybe Cason can sing ALL ABOUT MEN at the next Broadway Bares.

Good morning!

I had a very rough night; couldn't turn the brain off and fall asleep until a little after 2 a.m., so I'm definitely droopy this morning.

And it's HOT outside, too. Going to be stifling today but the forecast promises cooler weather starting tomorrow.

It was probably more ego than anything else. Once a "Star" always a "star". Also Bette Davis was still working and putting out top notch work (okay maybe not for another 6 years or so, but she was working a lot more than old pal Joan)

RE: last night's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

RESULTS SPOILERS

I haven't read yesterday's posts yet. But i must say that i am NOT happy with the girls results from last night.

I was in agreement with the guy they eliminated. I really thought danny shouldn't have been there. And neil's solo was the best of the night. And although jesus did a great routine his first week. To me that was mostly because of the choreography (that was great).

As for the girls, anya shouldn't have been there. But i think it was totally unfair for them to get rid of jessi. They shouldn't have made her dance for her life unless her and pasha were in the B3.  Anyhow she did the routine and it was good. That should have played into the equation IMO.

I would have gotten rid of sara. But lauren was pretty bad too. I definitely would have gotten rid of either of them before jessi. It just seemed so overly harse. The whole premise of the show is that you cannot be voted out if america does not put you in the B3. And then they go and completely overrule that.

Not cool.

Eager customers line up to get their hands on the coveted new Apple iPhone, which goes on sale today.

I know several here have expressed interest in the iPhone and plan to get the next generation of it. I think it's a neat bit of technology, but it holds no interest for me personally.
