The bowl must be washed, especially since I had blueberries in my oatmeal. The inside of the bowl is quite vibrantly blue.

Good morning, all! My Toyland day is threatened by parking schedules so I may end up at the NYPL celebrating their new hours. I'll know more later.

I was quite tired last evening and crashed early, so I missed a phone call from Mr BK.  I haven't seen Ms McArdle in about 10 years.  I met her when she was doing STATE FAIR on Broadway, and I liked her very much.

DR Ginny, Burke Moses the El Gallo? Who's now playing the Boy's Father?  Why didn't you at intermission tell the mother her child deserved to be made into a rug?

DR  MattH, husbands courting their wives goes back to Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, if not further back, but I suppose for Hollywood the prime source is Molnar's THE GUARDSMAN, which the Lunts popularized and filmed before Nelson Eddy remade it as  THE CHOCOLATE SOLDIER.

I have rehearsal tonight.  And hopefully the director will have the ENTIRE rehearsal schedule made up for us.

AND we had over 190 people attending our SHAKESPEARED! performance on Saturday night.  And because I put the story in the papers that the admission was $3 instead of $2, we made some extra money.

Although....hmmmmmmmmmmm....it was supposed to be in my account by now....I'd better check on that.

I just got an email with this subject line:

Of course, we freely admit that going to a lake we've fished for many years lacks the excitement of trying to track down a new walleye hole.

DR JANE - I liked DR CILLA LIZ's responses, too.

You could always say:

Oh really?  Well when that happens we just call him Carrie.

I'm asking because I haven't made my plans for the weekend, except that it will be a long weekend at the lake, so going to Fairmont isn't out of the question....no promises, but not out of the question

If you want to talk about scary--I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I heard that Ms. McArdle will be starring in a production of ANNIE as--Annie!  Supposedly it's going to take place on one of Rosie O'Donnel's cruises (with Rosie playing Miss Hannigan.)

I bet Andrea McArdle would draw a good crowd, even just out of curiosity!

I was gonna add that if I didn't dislike cruises so much I would like to see this.

I think the real scary thing about it is that Andrea would still be as fantastic as Annie as she ever was.
