PAGE TWO HUMOR

On the first day of school, the children brought gifts for their teacher.

The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers.

The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy.

Then the liquor-store owner's son brought up a big, heavy box.

The teacher lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking a little bit.  She touched a drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it.

"Is it wine?" she guessed.

"No," the boy replied.  She tasted another drop and asked, " Champagne ?.

"No," said the little boy. . . "It's a puppy!"

I shall refrain from giving a reply and a reason TCB!

My comment was in direct response to today's notes.

I am not sure which would be more frightening:  Jason wearing a mask, or the Joan Collins box?

Ahh, but which Jason?  There are more than you can shake a stick at!

In Oz that would be a licence.
Yep we still distinguish between the verb and the noun as we do with practise and practice.

I suspect not! They didn't look that confused.

Good morning, all!  I have little to report.  The work on the charts continues, the lease is still in negotiation, and I'm seeing HARRY POTTER with my beloved goddaughter tonight.  We had two choices of theatre: the huge Lincoln Center complex at 68th Street and the local theatre at 84th Street.  Charlotte preferred the 7:30 show at 68th and it was indeed sold out, so we're seeing it at 7:00 at 84th.  You need a chart for all the logistics.

TOD:
  DVD:  Upstairs Downstairs season 4
CD: Allegro (OBC), Guy Haines, Offenbach
  VCR: Oy!

I got the Joan Collins box, mainly for THE GIRL IN THE RED VELVET SWING, but what I've watched of the others, especially RALLY ROUND THE FLAG, BOYS, I have enjoyed.  The transfers seem to be nearly immaculate.

:)

Do tell!

Well, last weekend, I did go out and purchase a brand-spankin' new 80 GB iPod.  But once I got home, I started feeling weird about the expense.  So I started doing a little online research and found a site that sold iPod hard drives.  So for just $100 (plus another $5 for the toolkit), I purchased a new drive and it's now sitting here on my desk.  I am going to attempt to install it into my iPod today.  If this delicate operation works, I'll be happy as a clam and I have saved about $200 bucks (once I return the new iPod, that is.)
