There's a line from Moby Dick: The Musical that I think fits:

OBSESSION'S NOT JUST A PERFUME!!

;D

Ain't that the truth.   ;D

Will we never get to page seven?  I guess I'll try to finish Isadora now, so I can watch me a film noir or three.

Back from the Greek fest, where we had the chicken dinner with rice, green beans, Greek salad, and rolls.  We brought home some pastries to have for dessert later.

have mowed the lawn and weeded a bit and trimmed some tree like bushes. I am now tired.

Found nothing at the estate sales except a vintage ice cream scoop (which give me an excuse to buy some ice cream) and a hanging extension for a hanging plant. Total= $1.50

I got hungry so I went and filled up on Indian food at the Indian buffet downtown called India Palace. I kind of think I like it even better then Star India in North Salem.

Well, they are both good and they play really good music.

Now I will flop onto the couch and watch either the 1950 Helen Walker, Willard Parker film MY TRUE STORY

or the 1957 horror film THE MAN WHO TURNED TO STONE.

I can't tell which looks best.

...or maybe I will watch INHERIT THE WIND.

Either way I am likely to drop off for a nap in a matter of minutes.

I'm in the midst of some very important pre-trip preparations -   installing The Brain from Planet X and The Last Starfighter on my iPod.

Hello, I just had a nice talk with my friend Jerry from Phoenix.  I meant to call Jerry my lawn guy, but hit the wrong Jerry on my cell phone and was quite surprised to hear my friend Jerry's voice.   We hadn't talked in awhile so we chatted and caught up.  Then he reminded me to call my yard guy, lol

I had another nice phone conversation with my friend Gretchen. It's  her birthday and we had a nice long talk.  It's nice to catch up with friends.  Now I am hungry and trying to figure out what I want to do for dinner.

It's cloudy today and it has been raining south of here.  There's a 30% chance for showers tonight.  I'm hoping but not planning on it. It just doesn't seem to want to rain here anymore.

DR Julie!  What is HHW -- chopped liver?!  Everything on HHW is most relevant -- and time spent here is always constructive and worthy -- never anything gratuitous going on here ....  ;)

Well, Pepe, don't mind my words but I think you need to be obsessed with Obsession, you know! Because you smell like Les Poissons! ;)

It's so nice to be missed!

FJL, you are supremely trivial (so to speak).  I believe I looked at every play that ran for 300 performances or less between about a 20 year timespan, and found nothing, though I thought I was close a time or two.  Maybe I even was and just didn't realize it.  Yes, that's what I'm going to tell myself.
