No way! Is there really such a thing? I must have one(sie!)

No, there isn't. But many unscrupulous people have requested them. I do, however, have "The Internet Is For Porn" mousepads and t-shirts that read, respectively, "It Sucks To Be Me," and "Yeah, They're Real." Oh, and one that says, "More Drinks! More Fun!"

Well, DR Jason does have a matinee, but I could always meet you down there - and, actually, I was thinking of seeing your show tomorrow afternoon anyway (before DR elmore's ticket), so...

Regardless of which show I see tomorrow - if any - we could always bring back some banana pudding for DR Jason.  *And, remember, if you are not getting cupcakes at Magnolia, you do not have to wait in line, you can go right in.

:)  Well, shall we play it by ear as always?

All this talk of baked goodness makes me feel like going to the evil gym tomorrow.  I mean, might as well... seeing as how I'm paying $89 million dollars a month to work out once in a blue moon...

I need at least 24 hours' notice before any banana pudding is to be consumed so I can do 3 or 4 hours of yoga to earn some puddin' points.

I'm just sayin'...

DR Ron Pulliam - I remember "Dream House".  *And there are still times when I'm walking around The City wondering if the "dream house" is still there.  :)

Dream House on Church Street? I spent time there with friends from England who knew the composer, Lamote Young. It was still up and running as of last month, still playing the same chord:

Edi I would be interested to hear what you think of the links I posted....

Very well done, obviously by someone well versed in the popular trailer tricks. (That sounds sort of dirty....) That is, certain ways of cutting that everyone else then steals. A friend of mine has been a trailer editor for many years and I've seen people copy things he came up with.

I saw the Shining one a few years ago, and the Mary Poppins one last week. (It may have been posted here?) I hadn't seen the Sound of Music one though. I think that's my favorite!

And Thanks for all the Congrats on my upcoming Mary Poppins gig.  I really do owe Brad big time for offering this to me, and working around the one conflict I have during the time - which happens to fall at the end of the first week of rehearsals.

I got my copy of the piano/vocal score today, and, well... There a LOT of notes.  And since I'll be playing rehearsals for any of the scenes that the children are in, well, I have a lot of music to practice and learn - including a bunch of dance sequences.  It'll be a challenge, but I'm feeling up to it right now.  I'll basically be employed for about four or five weeks.  The cool thing about the schedule is that they rehearse Wednesday-Sunday, so I'll have at least two days off a week for other work - or just to take off (which I'm sure I'll need).  And I'll also start learning one of the keyboard books so that I can start covering for the associate conductor (when she conducts).

DR Jane - I'm not going to Alaska.  And I had already sort of decided that before this Mary Poppins gig fell in my lap.  Timing-wise, it was just too long a slot - two weeks - to be out of town - and not available for work.  And paying for the trip would have also put a slight strain on my bank account for September.  However, since I seem to be in the midst of a very "profitable" period right now, I'm seriously considering either taking another cruise sometime in October, and/or heading down to Disneyworld for a couple of days.  I haven't been to the Magic Kingdom in a couple of years, and since I can now get into the parks for free, well... :)  We shall see...

When people ask my mom what I do for a living as an editor, she tells them that I "cut out the bad stuff". Which is sort of true, in a way, still...

It's always nice when someone appreciates the work an editor does!

I'm still trying to find someone with a copy of one of the pre-Broadway San Francisco performances of "Wicked".

Hmm... Those have been available for years.
