A rerun?!

A command performance!

An encore!

And on occasion -- especially when things get gassy --  an editorial comment.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

That's what the past few days have been.

And that's what tomorrow will be.

Although cooler outside this e'en than previous ones, I still must avail myself of the AC for sleeping.

Sigh.

I enjoyed day one of my 5-day weekend.

I mopped kitchen and bathroom floors.

I took down and washed some curtains.

And I refused to agree to assume the responsibility of receiving, addressing and delivering letters/literature for an organization that solicited me over the telephone.

Imagine!  A telephone soliciation in which an organization thanks you for support they could not possibly know about (I gift charities anonymously) and then tells me they're going to send me materials that "I" will be addressing and delivering to my neighbors and friends.   HAH!  I say, "HAH!"  Again, "HAH!"

I DESPISE TELEPHONE SOLICITORS OF EVERY ILK!

Hey, That's DR TCB's joke!! It is!

Frank, I was using that line in 1975!  And it was a chestnut then.

Well, I have a matinee in a little over 12 hours, so...

Well, goodness, Jose!  We know you're frisky, but must you advertise your "assignations"?

I suppose that you'll be headed to the theater after it, too!?!

Why hello there, DR Edisaurus!!!  Can you enjoy any time this weekend at all, or are you going to be work, work, working on your impending move?

After my feline wake-up call, I wanted to pop in and see if there was any news on Freddy the feline. Now I can go back to sleep happy!

The advice about the tune water is great! Also, you might consider having the vet give him subcutaneous fluids. It's relatively cheap and they could give him a vitamin shot as well. I bet that would perk him back up in no time!

Does he look a little more svelte now?

Oh yes, working working, but that kind of work is fine to me!

Last night we assembled a tall bathroom storage tower we bought at IKEA. It looked fine in the store, but when we put it in the bathroom, which is small but with no storage space, it looked huge!

Unfortunately, we decided to stand it up in there in mid-assembly, but AFTER we had nailed on the back. So although they have a good return policy apparently (it's my first purchase there) I wonder if they will take something with nail holes???

I love camp films that weren't camp when they were made, or at least they didn't realize it.

I don't like films that are made to be campy, like my SLEEPAWAY CAMP II and III movies. (Although they could really be considered "campy films" in one respect!)

DR I Ching, you are certainly up early on what I would presume is a day off for you!

When I ordered my "Dirty Book", a surprise to the first buyers was promised, but all I got was the book. Unless the autograph was the surprise...but I ordered early to get an autographed one. Did I miss something?

I'm just incapable of sleeping in.  My body likes a regular schedule, and that means getting up at roughly the same time every day, no matter what.  But it doesn't seem to object to naps later on!

It's not too far out of the way to go back, and I may end up buying a smaller version of what we got.

I suppose this is why people hire decorators! It did look small in that huge store!

I have never been incapable of sleeping in! That's a good quality to have---I'm sure you get a lot more done.

No, don't hire decorators.

They might do your whole new house in faux camp classic.
