Yesterday, Matt H. wrote:I bought the first series (in three parts, region 2) from Amazon.co.uk and there are 13 episodes.  I don't know if there is (or will be) a second series, but what I've seen have been quite good. :)

Thanks for this information, DR George. Since Saturday night is pretty much a wasteland on network TV, this looks like a series I can count on seeing (or recording) each Saturday for awhile. I like that all the guys appear to be sexually dexterous.

Toe vibes for DR DANISE.

Shocking news DR CILLA LIZ.....it's always hard to imagine such an accident happening to someone we know.

Rain rain and more rain here yesterday.  And maybe more today.

The audience didn't laugh as much last night....more subdued....hopefully next week's audiences will be ready to laugh louder and longer.

Quiet audiences when you're doing a comedy are SO difficult. It's obviously not the play's fault and more than likely not the actors' faults either, so it has to be the audience's fault. At least that's what I've always told myself when I've appeared in front of a cold audience.

Looking forward to meeting up with DR Jose later today. We should have a lot to talk about after all of these years of typing out our thoughts.

And there is ZERO for me to watch on TV tonight. Yes, there is a new HBO series beginning that I have no interest in and the new season of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM which I've already done years ago.

So, I'll likely watch the Blu-ray of THE DEPARTED. It's a long film so that should take up a good portion of the evening.

I need to head down now to take the clothes out of the dryer, and then do some folding and putting away of said clothes.

I'm up, I'm up.  As expected, my scratchy throat made it difficult to sleep - I think I did sleep but I dreamt I was awake so it doesn't feel like I did.  I got up at eight-thirty, but fell back asleep and just got up again.

Jose, I do have a 5:20 appointment at the Genius Bar.  The only thing I don't know is whether I actually have to buy the upgrade first and have it with me or if they just do it and charge me there.  If anyone knows, let me know, because the lines are huge and I'll have to get there at least a half-hour early.

When I called to make the appointment, which was yesterday around two, I was rather surprised there were no appointments at all last evening, as I thought I'd just walk over there from the Carnegie Deli.

The big question is whether I bring Ye Olde Laptop with me to the street fair.  We go on at two-thirty, so I can leave at two-forty-five or so, but to have to come all the way back here then go all the way back to the Apple Store seems weird.  If I bring it, then we could grab a bite to eat and I could head over to the Apple Store after that.  Then again, do I want my laptop slung over my shoulder for three hours?

To Michael S-- You survived for a reason, and I'm glad you did.

To MBarnum, I'm so sorry about your handsome friend.

I caught Diana Dors' appearance at Ciro's last night and then poppped over to the Cocanut Gove for the band's last set.  Who knows what today will bring?

Please be careful out there, folks!

Sunday just-barely-morning greetings!  It's my one-day weekend and I'm trying to motivate myself to do something productive.

DR Michael S - oh, my!  Please take care of yourself.

DR Cillaliz - sorry that the rumors you'd heard yesterday turned out to be true.

Dear HHWers, thank you all for your thoughts and concerns over the very unexpected death of my buddy George. I talked to his mom yesterday to find out what happened and it was indeed a heart problem. George had never told me (which his mom said he rarely told anyone) that he had a heart valve condition, or something like that, for many years. He always had the option for surgery to correct it, but he declined to do that. I don't know why.

But once I knew what happened it was much easier to have my cry and accept it all and now I feel better.

Although it is beautiful outside, I think I will sit on my butt all day and catch up on watching some movies.

But first I must run to the store and refill my stock of deluxe mixed nuts.
