Well, you've read the notes, the notes were sweaty, and now it is time for you to post until the sweaty cows come home.

Laura, both Brent and Jason had conflicts arise, which happens sometimes when you book as far in advance as we did.  Did I include Alice Ripley on the list?

That's a shame. I hope no one else has to drop out.

Things happen, I hope good things continue and the rehearsals are successful and the fundraiser continues to fall into place.

Well, the news isn't good on the lawyer I was mentioning. Apparently he lost control of his car on the interstate, slid off the road and hit a tree. Both he and his passenger were killed. It was on the news tonight. He doesn't drink. I'm wondering if he either fell asleep or a deer ran out in front if him

On the other hand, I just got home from a very fun birthday party.  It was outside along the Missouri River which is flowing like crazy after all the rain we've had.  The temps started in the 70s then the wind came up and it was in the 60s when I came home.   I saw a lot of people I haven't seen in awhile. It was really nice.

Before I went to the party I painted the trim around the garage doors. Boy, does that look better

Today (since it's actually still Saturday ;) otherwise, yesterday), I went to work for a few hours (I walked to work...it's only about a mile) then walked to Quiznos for a bite to eat, then walked home.  I checked my mail just before I got to my house and I received two, count 'em...TWO DVDs from First Run Films!  I bought "The Internationale" (I actually bought this before, but it was for my dad...this is my copy) and "Sacco and Vanzetti"!!  Both of which are edited by our very own Edisaurus!  Finally, I'll get to watch them. :D

Yesterday’s topic of the day:  Cashews!!  I love me some cashews.  A local pizza place has cashews as one of their specialty items and my favorite pizza is pepperoni, pineapple and cashew pizza with extra cheese and sauce.  The best. :)

Also pecans (especially pecan pie) and almonds and hazelnuts (especially in Nutella ;))

When it went off, we watched TORCHWOOD which was recorded while WTC was on. It was an entertaining beginning episode with some good actors in the regular roles. I don't know how many episodes of this have been filmed, but I'm going to continue watching.

I bought the first series (in three parts, region 2) from Amazon.co.uk and there are 13 episodes.  I don't know if there is (or will be) a second series, but what I've seen have been quite good. :)

I'm afraid I won't be at the Brain scene at the street fair today, much as I'd love to.  I just can't get an early enough train in with my other commitments.

bk - Do you have a Genius Bar appointment set up for today?  With all the students back in town, I'm sure it will be mobbed.  *And, remember, if you have the Apple Select Care - or whatever they call it - and I think you do, you can make the appointment online via Apple's website via the Store Locator.

Good morning, all!  I have little to report but that this round of editorial guidelines is driving me up the wall.

DR Cillaliz, I too am so sorry to hear about your friend.

DR Danise, I'm sorry to hear about the toe injury.  I hope you didn't break it, but you might see your doctor to be certain that it's healing properly.[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]

Morning all!

Thank you for the vibes on my toe.  I think it will be ok.  It's still a little red but not as sore.  I should have put some antibiotic on it sooner.  My bad for letting it get this far.

Cilla, I'm also sorry about your friend.  Vibes to you and his family.

I wish I could come up and see the Brain and Starfighter.  I'm sorry that Michael S won't be able to go like he planned.  I am glad that he's ok.  That's the main thing.

I remember when I was in NY I looked out my hotel window at about two AM and thought that it would be much more busy then it was for "the city that never sleeps".

I'll be glad when 9-11 passes.  I know something else could happen at any time of the year but it worries me that someone might get it into their head to try to top what happened on that day.

We have all kinds of drills and classes about that stuff as "just in case".  I don't like to think about it.

Gotta go.  Dog park.  I'm being told that we need to leave--SOON! :)
