Speaking of Ghostwriting, I wonder if DR Elmore has been helping out CSU students?

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers. I am glad to see that as of midnight, today's speaker has finally sent all her stuff for today's service. I hope.

Good morning, all! I slept late because I will get next to no sleep until I finish the Plaza job beginning this evening.  Before the taping session at 1 today, I will go through the piece again, looking for possible cuts and maybe rewriting the ending.  I already have tickets for the 4:30 performance of THE PIPER at St Clements, and I will be seeing the show with my beloved Donna Lynne Champlin.  It should be fun.

I was indeed surprised to see Mr Coughlin's name attached to EVER AFTER; as DR Jose can attest, I really wanted the job, because I like Marcy and Zina's work and I really liked the film. Clearly, someone involved decided otherwise.  Yep, fuckem.

BK, I wonder if both Gavin and Rebecca were out because of the holiday?

Sunday morning greetings!  DH Richard is off to church in Cincinnati and I'm puttering at home until he's back.  We'll then go to Harriet's apartment for more cleaning out.  He and his brothers were there yesterday and he says it looks worse, but actually is much better.

Y'all may remember that back on August 15 I won my first eBay auction item.  It finally arrived yesterday, more than a month later.  I've been emailing the seller and checking at the PO.  Apparently, she shipped it promptly and it got lost and was finally returned to her.  Anyway, it arrived safely and I'm pleased.

That's happened to me a couple of times, DR GINNY.  I must say usually EBAY items arrive within five days of payment.

Song of the day from MR BK....When I Fall in Love...all mentioned versions are lovely.

The one I like BEST is sung on an old Dot label album by Mr Bryan Hyland.

http://www.weather.com/weather/pastweather/10025?when=-3 High of 82 on Thursday and Friday.  Highest temperature in September: 88 (early in the month)

Sorry to be so know-it-all-y with the proof at the ready here, but I hear tell people are packing suitcases, wondering what to include.

Good morning!

It was cooler than they forecast this morning, so I did fling open the doors and windows for a spell, but it has heated up quickly, so now the house if locked up tight and A/C back on (though it hasn't flipped on yet). Supposed to be 90 today. Got to 91 yesterday. Boo!

I'm up, I'm up.  I think it's swell that it was only in the 80s the other day when the sign in front of my eyes clearly said 90.  Clearly someone was trying to gaslight me.

I spent part of the morning diving into the DVD set of WHAT ABOUT BRIAN. I watched two episodes, and I have to say so far I'm not a fan. I don't like the married/engaged couples much at all, and I don't like their condescending treatment of Brian's love life.

I don't find the writing very engaging either. It's not witty enough (shows like GREY'S ANATOMY and BROTHERS & SISTERS put the writing in this to shame).

True, I've only seen two episodes. Maybe the show gets more on track later. I'll find out as I'll be watching more episodes most of the day.

I'll get ready shortly and head over to the flea market - not anticipating spending much time there.

COLD CASE does have its season premiere tonight, so I'll likely pause the BRIAN episodes for at least an hour to watch it.

Tomorrow, season premieres begin for real for many shows.

No, I am not the "ghost" on talkin' broadway - people are not very happy with Roller Derby and its abuse of NYMF rules - NYMF should remove the rules or call Roller Derby a special event, because they were NOT under the same constraints as all the other NYMF shows.

Tomorrow I'm expecting the new Platinum Editon of THE JUNGLE BOOK and Gus Van Sant's MALA NOCHE in a new Criterion edition.

So, with those discs, the new TV season, and the Mickey-Judy box arriving later in the week, I'm going to be one busy bee.

BK - we have a thermometer hanging outside our kitchen window.  When it's in the direct sun, we estimate that it's reading about 10 o warmer than the actual air temp.
