and a local add for a lumber company

"Lab tested decks" it is treated wood   for decks and in part of the ad they would have lab puppies running around on it.

This add dates from the 70s and it was a Christmas one that a regional bank did

It was two little kids looking out the window and they see a snowman dancing. they quickly dress and go outside and the snowman is still. The little boy asks his sister is she saw it and she did.

after they go back inside the snowman winks with a voice over that had something to this effect... Enjoy the magic of christmas...

they played that ad for years.. Sweet ad.

Did the New Zealand film (starring Anthony Hopkins) "The World's Fastest Indian" meet with success in the USA?  We watched it the other night  - charming.

I will have to look for that film...

How is DP Colin doing? You?

Bk and Elmore,

FUNNY FACE is a nice film but I have also had a hard time getting into it. The music is nice and Miss Hepburn is such a classy actress. She is one of my favorites.

td, don't get mad at me, but I think that Audrey's singing in FUNNY FACE is just terrible! Granted, the song is hard to sing but still... She obviously was no singer!

Hey all, yes I've been so errant and truant.  I'm currently in Montreal visiting my family and far from my California Central Valley.  I wanted to see how the Brain is doing in New York.  Are those critics being nasty?

I think I remember a documentary, maybe about Fair Lady, and her ire at not being allowed to perform the songs, but being dubbed by Marni Nixon. She was not a happy camper...
