Howard Shore contributes quite a memorable score for EASTERN PROMISES.

DR Edi - If you get to see EASTERN PROMISES, you simply must discuss the editing of the film's set-piece with me.

Very exciting news at Film Score Monthy - I've know this was coming for over a year, but it's finally here - the first ever CD release of two of my favorite 60s scores on one CD - Johnny Keating's fantastic score to Hotel, and Stanley Myers' equally fantastic score to Kaleidoscope.

I worked with Stanley Myers on my first film job out of college. (I hadn't graduated yet, actually...) He was really nice. He was rather inebriated during the mix (not so much during the scoring session) and his son came along as his handler. It didn't seem to impact his ability to write a beautiful score of SUMMER OF MY GERMAN SOLDIER.

I see in the news today that Miss Lois Maxwell has died. Of course many know her as Miss Moneypenny from the James Bond films, others may remember her as the voice of Atlanta

And here I thought *I* was the voice of Atlanta!

DR Cillaliz, me too! I thought we all - cast and guests - were going to the same location.  I will see more of Ginny and Richard this week, but I don't know if Joe and Bill Orr are still here, and I hardly saw Der Brucer and SWW!

Here's the info on the Plaza event tomorrow night.  I see it begins at 7:00 pm.

Sam and I are back at the hotel and are about to begin packing. She is talking to her parents on the phone and I am here checking in.

We both had a great time at THE BRAIN tonight.  Having not seen the show before, we didn't notice any changes or mistakes.  We thoroughly enjoyed it. We laughed and laughed.

Where oh where has DR coleslaw been all day and night?

He came into NY @ 3 and met us at Jose's Levain get-together. Then he went off with the HHWers who weren't going to see Noel's show, and then to THE BRAIN. He slipped out of the theatre before I got to say goodbye to him.  :'(  (He and Ben both had early days and didn't go out to play.)

A funny thing happened on the wat to John's Pizzaria.

When Greg was tapped for THE BRAIN tap Friday, when Zubrick asked his name, Greg said "Oh crap. You want my name?" This becamse his name for the whole scene.

Tonight, when we were a block away from John's a lady waiting on the corner looked over at Greg and said "It's oh crap, you want my name". I guess he should start applying for his Equity card!

Speaking of Equity, I never got to meet Jason!

We're very beat (Daddy-O) and are going to hit the hay.

Safe driving home vibes to Der B and Woody. It was great meeting them.

Safe flight to the Murphys, BJ, Cilla and Sam.

And safe travel to bk, who made this wonderful weekend possible! We had a blast!
