Heading down now to shave and shower before heading out to lunch with best friend John. Yes, he had to work today.

DR der Brucer is always complaining that I don't talk enough about Truffle, the guinea pig, so here's a little update:

Yesterday he ate, drank, scampered, pooped up a storm, and slept.

If there's any change, I'll let you know.   8)

DR JoseSPiano - have you ever shopped at the Amish Market on 9th Avenue?  I don't know how their prices are, but they seemed to have a very nice selection of prepared meals as well as fresh produce.

Monday morning greetings!  After a night of coughing and sleeping on the couch, I have a doctor's appointment at 2pm.

Otherwise, we're just unpacking, catching up on newspapers and such, and getting used to having more than one room to live in.  Now that we've been home a while, I've come to the conclusion that our kitchen is bigger than the studio apartment we had in NYC.

Me, too, DR MattH.  We have more than a week's worth of mail sitting at the PO and can't pick it up until tomorrow.

DR Singdaw - the Amish Market was our shopping place all last week.  We had good fresh fruit from there.

May be your fantasy, but it ain't mine!  He's lucky to be offered a glass of Classic Coke.

My sincere congratulations to BK, Noel, FJL (and Skip) for those wonderful reviews from Mr. Filichia.

It was exciting to have three shows in the Festival created by HHW members, but to have all three be considered among the best of show is awesome.

What TCB said!! And when each one hits Broadway, expect me to be in the audience!!!

Alas, Columbus Day is not a day of vacation for Oregon workers  :P

However, I don't go in to work until 1pm on Mondays....so I can do a little bit of power cord shopping.

DR Matth, do you have a regular DVD player or is it one of those upconvert DVD players.

If it is just a regular DVD player do you stil use an HDMI cord? Or is that cord only for an Upconvert DVD player?

As for the topic of the day:

I just counted 898 DVDs. However that does not count all of the ones that are boxed up, nor does it take into consideration the hundreds of DVDrs that I own.

Let's just say it is more then I will ever be able to watch. I would say I have watched about 400 or so of them so far.

As for CDs I probably have about 300 and have listened to them all. I play them at work, in the car, or at home while I am puttering around.

I know my Mac Mechanic quite well; trust me, he won't show up looking like one of DR MBarnum's fantasies.  I have much better taste.

What's fascinating looking at that list is how many of those shows received almost no publicity whatsoever anywhere.

And the news is (at least the news as told to me by someone who hopefully knows) part two of the funding check is ready for pickup - since Miss Patti is at LACC in classes, I've called and left a message for her to pick it up.  When she has it in her hands, then I'll feel comfortable that we have it.

Hello, HHW.

I'm still under the weather. Not coughing violently like VIXMOM, thankfully, but having trouble getting rid of an infection that doesn't want to leave my lungs. Pooh!

I've caught up on the posts. What I've learned is this: before I purchase a new TV (hopefully not soon) I will CONSULT and BE PREPARED for a major undertaking.

;D

It's a good thing he's cute, because he has no personality [compared to a dog or a cat]!
