And the word of the day is: ONEIROMANCY!
An example of ONEIROMANCY: I dreamed I was eating CREAMY ONION soup... in my Maidenform bra!

 :o

Only I have no idea what it means.

Watching the extras on THE JAZZ SINGER set....so TJS was filmed at the New York Studios...and the WB bought First National in 1928.

Did they NOT have Hollywood facilities until then?

So the White-Nesbit love nest has collapsed.....what happened to the building sounds like what is happening to Joan Collins.
Yes, it's sad what a lack of support can do when things get older.

Since we're celebrating an anniversary and 3 birthdays, that was a lot of shopping.

We bought my DM-I-L a copy of "Water for Elephants", since it was recommended by several Dear Readers. Maybe she'll loan it to me when she's done!

Well, for those who thought I was kidding the otehr day about what i said about Maryann Lopinto, note that the Spceial Thanks in the York's program for BAKER'S WIFE read (note the third name):

Joe & Elisa Stein, Randy Hansen, Maryann Lopinto, Walter Gershuny, etc. etc.

Still, Jrand, that was a very funny joke the other day.

Has anyone ready "Riding Lessons" by the same author? I really liked "Water for Elephants" and am thinking about getting "Riding Lessons" as well.

Good Morning!  Had a great time at the Masonic banquet last night.  DN Adam is very into this so it was fun to be his guest.

After the banquet we went to Minerva's where a couple friends of mine were playing in a guitar duo.  We had a couple celebratory drinks, a appetizer and some good conversation with good music in the background.  It was a nice end to the weekend.

Time to get ready for work.

Short day today - only five hours - of course, that's subject to change...

This morning I let Adam sleep a little. At 9:30 AM I heard him say "Holy Cow!" he hit the road shortly after getting up.  It was a nice weekend.

Edi, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t loved WATER FOR ELEPHANTS.  I’ll be interested in her reaction.

Cilla, I have RIDING LESSONS on my list of books to purchase.  I don’t know anyone who has read it.

ASSOCIATED PRESSAMAZING! How can a New Yorker write this story without a mention of RAGTIME? Or mentioning:

der Brucer

Speaking of Farley Granger, has anyone read his new tell-some autobiography?

Still, Jrand, that was a very funny joke the other day.

All for you, DR FJL.  It was told me about 25 years ago by a friend of a friend.....and I have been waiting ALL this time for the perfect opportunity to repeat it.

That responsibility now falls to you.  ;D

Watching EVIL UNDER THE SUN.....what a wonderful group of actors and actresses....sophisticated....lovely Cole Porter music....great clothes....stunning locations....literate script.

And was there ever a more handsome man than Nicholas Clay....in that black bathing costume.
