jose, darling photo of the gang. :)

What I want to know is whether it makes our Jose want to go out and procreate so there might be some little SPianos running around.

I hope DR GINNY has pictures taken.
...

DR JRand, our assistant manager has taken lots of pictures today, including a cute one of 5 of us together.  It's HUGE and would send us into Cinemascope for sure, so even if we could post right now, I wouldn't.  Can't figure how to resize on this %$&@ PC, so will wait until I get home to my Mac and hope the upload folder is clear by then.

DR Ginny - any particular reason why the folks are dressing up today rather than tomorrow?  ???

Long story, DR Singdaw.  Here in the Bible Belt, the powers that be have decided that Trick or Treat should not be tomorrow because there are a lot of church services on Wednesday evenings.

Back from lunch and a depressing speech on the health of children and teens in our area.  While over in that part of downtown, I popped into the box office at the Schuster Center and got 2 great seats for the Nov. 24 matinee of Mamma Mia!.  I'm taking my mother as an early 89th birthday present.

Yikes!  I paid 'way less than that for 2 great aisle seats in the orchestra.

Has anyone been seeing the promos for the upcoming Dreamworks Animation film "The Bee"?

Jerry Seinfeld is everywhere in them.  And what I'm wondering is whether anyone else is confused about there not being anything remotely "funny" about them.  Jerry mugs.  Jerry talks.  Jerry does this, that and the other.  Folks talk about Jerry -- he's so funny, he has assembled a great cast, he's a genius.  And yet, nothing in evidence seems to be offered that makes this movie appealing to me in the least bit.

Funny man?  Jerry Seinfeld?  He's never made me laugh at all.  Moreso (or less) now than ever.

The movie house trailer is pretty funny - however, I suspect Seinfeld is an acquired taste. The tag line in the trailer "Can anybody draw" got a laugh from me, and of course the Grandlad was enjoying all the Bee shenanigans.

I've been listening to the quartet of new CD releases from ps classics [Andrea Burns, Victoria Clark, Lauren Kennedy, and demos by Jonathan Larson].

I must say, I'm really blown away by almost every song by Jeff Blumenkrantz that I've heard!  His podcasts last year were quite something, too.

And as for the TOD; my choice might not fit the exact criteria of which dear BK is thinking, but it certainly poses a lot of questions to think about, so one of my all time favorite pieces of fiction is still...

Atlas Shrugged

i only shrugged when i read this.  sometimes i wonder if i should re-read & attempt to figure out what i missed. ;D
