Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fruity, and now it is time for you to post until the looming cows come home.

From the (No, I didn't make this up" department):

TREEHUGGER

Quote
Lingerie-maker Triumph International Japan has just unveiled the "My Chopsticks Bra" in Tokyo to promote the use of reusable chopsticks. That's right, you can enhance your cleavage and save the planet at the same time.

The not-for-sale concept bra, which has a Japanese dining-table theme, comes with a pair of collapsible chopsticks. The right cup consists of a rice bowl, while the left comprises a miso-soup bowl.

Meanwhile, a removable chopstick rest is nuzzled between the cups. Cloth holsters, placed on the sides of the cups, hold the chopsticks, while pushing against your bosom to create the desired décolletage.

MISS KAREN'S DESSERT:

MOST EXPENSIVE DESSERT IN THE WORLD: NYC EATERY OFFERS $25,000 FRRROZEN HAUTE CHOCOLATE

NEW YORK  —  This is one rich cup of haute chocolate: A New York eatery is offering a $25,000 dessert bulging with top-grade cocoa, edible gold and shavings of a luxury truffle.

The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate was declared the most expensive dessert in the world on Wednesday by Guinness World Records.

The dessert is a frozen, slushy mix of cocoas from 14 countries, milk and 5 grams of 24-carat gold topped with whip cream and shavings from a La Madeline au Truffle.

It is served in a goblet with a band of gold decorated with 1 carat of diamonds and served with a golden spoon diners can take home.

The dessert was created by Serendipity 3, a restaurant popular with tourists and once featured in a John Cusack movie.

Kind of interesting article from the NY Times about this year's Radio City Holiday Spectacular.  And I think it has been reported here previously that NBC will be broadcasting the show this year for the first time on 1-Dec.

Good morning, all! Another frantic day and I've been having too many of them at the moment.

DR JMK, I have no wish to fight with you, and I apologize that I missed your last post because I had already signed off. I would have simply responded then and there. I do agree with you that you're doing what's requested and I'm sure it will sound fine and suit your director's goals. I sent you an email this morning, and feel free to pass it along to those email senders who clearly didn't like my posts or my caveats last evening.

DR singdaw, the news about the Radio City broadcast is most interesting, since they may owe me money if my sequence is still in the production, and I do loves me my royalty checks. And then, wouldn't it be nceif there were a DVD and further checks? I'm already buying real estate. Not.

Today, Toyland and the NYPL: for a person who spent the first two-thirds of 2007 unemployed, I'm suddenly hopping: proofreading a piece from my publisher for a deadline next week, Ashley Brown's two charts, and the New York City Gay Men's Chorus hoday concert.  Last night tenor Kip Wilborn sent me an email about work, and I told him if it was needed before Dec 10 I was turning him down.  He arrives in New York tonight, so I suppose I'll be talking to him before tomorrow night as well.  I wish things were going so swimmingly on the estate front.

TOD:  this is media day?
  DVD:  Lord knows
CD:  Concert Overtures by Sullivan, Mendelssohn, etc.; Princess Ida; Mary Poppins soundtrack
VCR:  The tape's set but I've got no time!

JRand57, the last Fruit-of-the-Loom commercial I remember seeing, and not too long ago, is the  "Apple of my eye" singer and the movies of the kid in the apple costume swimming.

Thanks for the info on The Closer, DR dB.  DR Edisaurus had implied that this was new stuff, whereas that news bite implies that it's just a repeat of the two-parter Season 3 finale.  I wonder which it is?  :)

When I can play the second fiddle, I'm a virtuoso.

I haven't seen either of those commercials, DR ELMORE, so they must still be around, but not advertising on shows I watch.

TNT has not yet aired the Season 3 two-part finale titled "Next of Kin". The two-parter aired in Sept was episodes 12 and 13 of the 15 episode season.

So think I.
