It is wet and wild in the Pacific Northwet.  Sustained winds of 40 and expecting gusts to 60.  If I had been at work today, I probably wouldn't even notice the wind.  But today is the day to honor or Veterans, so I am home.  Actually, it is not easy to ignore the weather, now that weatherman Jim Castillo has returned from New York to work in the Seattle market once again.

DR TCB! Good to see you.

And probably smelled to high heaven since no one bathed then.

I am in Ohio; I ran into my copusin Jennifer by sheer chance and we have a dinner date for Thursday evening. Maddie and  Max were thrilled to see me. Everyojne else is at work.  I'm ready for a nap.

Elmore, I am glad you had a safe flight.  Now watch your back and be sure and turn down all invitations to stay at Cawdar Castle.

DR JRand57, what a wonderful photo of your 4-H days! As I was driving from the Dayton airport to I-75, I thought I should go west and visit you rathere than face Lady M, but I headed south instead.  The plane left 30 minutes late and we arrived right on time.  Hmmmm.

DR JMK, go to the imdb.com and type in Paula's name. you'll see her other credits and then probably remember where you've seen her.

What are we all doing, BK asks. Well, I'm TRYING to pay bills and review some bank statements, but (1) I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning, very unlike me, and (2) I keep getting interrupted. So I'm still working on what I usually have done by 1 pm. I'm also--obviously--distracted by HHW. I also took a walk and bought some art supplies. Not a very productive day, but IT'S A HOLIDAY!
