What do YOU always say?

I guess I'll head down now to check the mail (I got NO packages yesterday) and then get started on lunch preparation.

Good morning, everyone.

TOD:
Most of you know how I came to HHW. Bruce's name came up one day while I was doing a web search, I saw he had a website, saw that it was indeed the same BK, emailed him, and he and I were back in touch minutes later. He encouraged me to join all of you, saying that you couldn't be more supportive. I heartily agree! What a fine and funny and generous group you all are!

As for friendships, yes, the online world does make us rethink some of our old definitions. Perhaps friendship has more to do with what is in our hearts and less to do with physical proximity.

What happened to that show about the policeman in NYC who was 400 years old?

I can't find it on the schedule, and don't remember ever seeing it.

OH tonight begins the new season of PWOJECT WUNWAY!!!!

He should really spend his vacation doing something he doesn't normally do.

Somehow, for Roast Mules, I was thinking more of the footwear...

DR MBarnum, I don't think you were paying very close attention when DR JoseSPiano took you on a tour of the reservoir!  ;)

Now I want to go to NYC again!

And I, for one, would be delighted to see you again.

However, I can't speak for DR elmore3003.    ;)

I checked for phone messages.

I'll be working tonight, from three to ten.  Self-scan registers.

Good Afternoon!

I found my passport - WHEW!  Of course, once I calmed down and thought calmly about the last place I remember seeing/putting it, and then once I calmly opened up the first(!) filing box I thought it was in, well, there it was.  WHEW!  :)

I also just put a major load of laundry into the dryers down at the laundromat, and I should have a clean and dry clothes ready to pack in about 40 minutes.  :)

And, thankfully, I just remembered to eat something.  -And, NO, that is not a euphemism! ;D

Thanks for all the well-wishes for my upcoming(!) working vacation.  What's really cool is that I'll be working alongside two of my favorite NYC casting directors.  Additionally, the participants of the workshop are actually the current cast of performers on the ship - most of whom I played for when they auditioned for the gig!

And - I have indeed solved the roast mules anagram....and I have ordered a copy of SON OF ROSEMARY.

DS Betsy and I saw something really disturbing as I was driving her to the bus stop this morning.  A neighborhood cat had evidently just been hit by a car and was in its death throes on the street.  It was really horrible.  We couldn't stop and help it since there was so much traffic, but we called Animal Control.  By the time I came back, it looked like it was out of its misery.  It's really freaked us both out--it was horrible to see, so sad.

Yep.  The last place you look; that's usually where you'll find a thing.  ;)

Glad that little issue didn't scuttle your trip!  And it appears you'll be travelling back well ahead of the dreaded holiday travel crush.

As for the term "swingboy", that was the subject of the e-mail I got last night from Baayork regarding the change in the plans - at least my plans - for the memorial.  Of course, when I saw the subject line, I at first thought it was some sort of spam, but after realizing it came from Baayork - and that a subsequent e-mail from her assistant with the same subject line was also in my e-mai inbox, well...

In any case, I don't swing anyway.  -Or should that be "any way"? ;D
